Last Updated: 2024/11/06, According to the agricultural weather forecast issued by the Central Meteorological Observatory on June 25, it is expected that in the coming week, precipitation will increase in Huang-Huai, the southeast of Northwest China and southern Shanxi, with moderate rain in the west and south of Huang-Huai and the southeast of Northwest China.

According to the agricultural weather forecast issued by the Central Meteorological Observatory on June 25, it is expected that in the coming week, precipitation will increase in Huang-Huai, the southeast of Northwest China, and southern Shanxi, with moderate rain in the west and south of Huang-Huai, and heavy to heavy rain in parts of the west and south of Huang-Huai, which is beneficial to soil moisture storage, crop growth and agricultural water storage.

In this regard, meteorological experts suggest timely ploughing and weeding, timely topdressing according to seedling conditions, and timely ditch drainage, dehumidification and moisture dispersing in areas with large precipitation. There is still little precipitation in most of North China and central and northern Shandong, and the drought in central Hebei and some parts of Shandong Peninsula will continue or develop. It is suggested that we should pay close attention to the change of soil moisture and irrigate in time.

From June 23 to 25, moderate to heavy rain occurred in the southeast of Northwest China, the west and south of Huang-Huai, and southern Shanxi, including torrential rain in southeastern Shaanxi, central Henan and northern Jiangsu and Anhui. The accumulated precipitation in most of the above areas is 30-100 mm and the soil moisture has been significantly improved. The relief of drought in northwest Henan and southern Shanxi is very beneficial to the growth of dryland crops such as corn and cotton. The precipitation in central and northern Shanxi, most of Hebei and north-central Shandong is less than 15 mm, and the drought continues in central Hebei and parts of Shandong Peninsula.
