21 billion jin of China Grain Storage will be built this year.

The reporter learned from the China Grain Reserve Corporation on the 26th that about 21 billion jin of central grain reserves will be built this year to improve the collection and storage capacity of the vertical management system of central grain reserves.

According to reports, the layout of the central grain reserve warehouse construction highlights three key areas: Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Jiangsu, and other areas with large grain procurement, shortage of storage capacity, and concentration of entrusted leasing warehouses; areas with large capacity shortages and weak direct storage capacity of central grain reserves such as Beijing, Tianjin and Chongqing; and areas with more old and dangerous warehouses, such as Jiangxi, Hunan, and Shanxi.

A relevant responsible person of the Asset Management Department of the China Grain Storage Corporation said that the purpose of speeding up the construction of grain warehouses in China this year is to solve the gap in the capacity of the central grain reserves and alleviate the contradiction between grain collection and storage. The China Grain Storage system has been fully mobilized, carried out with unconventional efforts, and made every effort to promote the construction of the project.
