This year, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Adjusting and Perfecting the Three Agricultural Subsidy Policies, deciding to adjust 20% of the funds from the comprehensive subsidies for agricultural materials arranged by the central finance from 2015 to support the moderate scale operation of grain. The focus is on the new business entity, reflecting "who has multiple kinds of grain, who will be given priority support".

From the initial point of view, the adjustment of subsidy mode has certain positive effects on increasing fertilizer demand, mainly manifested in the reduction of field abandonment phenomenon. However, after entering the middle and late stages, the impact of policies on fertilizer market is no longer an increase in demand, but an acceleration of the increase in large growers. Big growers will rely more on scientific farming to boost yields. Compared with conventional fertilization, the yield of rice, wheat, corn and other main food crops increased by 6%~10%, and the cost saving and efficiency increase per mu was more than 30 yuan; while the income increase effect of cash crops was more obvious, and the cost saving and efficiency increase per mu was more than 80 yuan. The planting area of large planting households is large, saving 30 yuan per mu and 3000 yuan per 100 mu. The scale economy benefit is obvious, and the enthusiasm for actively carrying out soil testing and formula fertilization will be much higher.

Therefore, fertilizer enterprises should adapt to the new market pattern and actively seek transformation. The first is to adjust market channels. The demand for chemical fertilizer by large growers is large, and manufacturers can bypass dealers to directly supply large households, and the number of county and township dealers may be significantly reduced; second, product structure adjustment. In the past, most fertilizer enterprises produced general-purpose fertilizers, but in the future, they should produce more targeted and high-efficiency special-purpose fertilizers, and even customize production according to the personalized needs of large planting households; third, the marketing means should be changed. Large households are experts, they are not interested in the concept of manufacturers speculation, manufacturers must launch high-performance products.
