We may not be very familiar with konjac, what we see are basically processed konjac products, the main reason is that konjac itself is toxic and can only be eaten after processing. Because konjac can detoxify and nourish skin, reduce blood pressure, blood lipids and appetizers, it has changed from the original wild plant to artificial planting. Here are some problems that need to be paid attention to when planting konjac, which are sorted out by the editor of pro-agricultural network. Let's take a look.

1. Soil

Konjac has a certain selectivity to the planted soil, because it is not suitable for planting in the land with high soil stickiness. If the suitable soil is not selected, the survival rate of konjac is very low. So when planting, we must pay attention to select yellow soil or purple soil as well as sandy soil and sandy soil, the soil pH is moderate can be slightly acidic. Finally, it is important to note that continuous cropping cannot be carried out, nor can continuous cropping of former crops be planted for chili and tobacco soil.

2. Time

The time of planting konjac is also an important issue, because the temperature and climate of different parts of our country are different to a certain extent, so when we plant, we need to understand the local climatic conditions, and then choose the right time to plant. We take Hunan as an example, usually the best time for konjac sowing is around April every spring, usually about 25 days to sprout. Transplanting should be completed in the middle of May, which is beneficial to the growth of Amorphophallus.

3. Temperature

The temperature of planting is also something we need to pay attention to, and at the same time, temperature is also an important factor in judging whether we can sow or not. the best temperature for the growth of konjac is about 15 degrees. We should test the soil temperature when sowing. If the soil temperature can be stabilized around the application degree, we can prepare for sowing. Secondly, in the process of planting, it is best to reasonably regulate the temperature. So that the temperature in the field can be kept at about 13 to 18 degrees.

4. Density

The unreasonable planting density will bring a lot of trouble to konjac, such as the influence of diseases and insect pests, the deceleration of plant growth, the yield and quality of konjac, etc., under the conditions of soil and other aspects, about 3,000 plants can be planted per mu on average, and then the planting needs to be increased or reduced according to the specific conditions of the planting land, such as the fertility of the soil, the light of the planting land, and so on. Finally, there can be no more than 4,000 plants per mu.

5. Fertilizer and water

One of the biggest differences between konjac planting and other crop cultivation lies in water management. If conditions permit, apply as much base fertilizer as possible, do not top dressing, and water enough at the beginning of planting. Reduce the number of watering as much as possible, which is more conducive to its growth. Secondly, the editor would also like to add here, that is, konjac does not need how to carry out field management, is a coarse crop, vas deferens is not conducive to its growth.
