In order to meet the needs of agricultural production, after many years of technological innovation and scientific and technological research and development, China's agricultural plastic products industry has created a number of world firsts: the world's first agricultural film production; the world's first agricultural film coverage area, of which the plastic film coverage area is 380 million mu, 1.6 times the total coverage area of all other countries in the world. It took only 27 years for China's agricultural plastic products industry to complete the whole process from imitation to independent development, turning a country that can only produce blank shed film and blank plastic film made of resin into a big country of agricultural plastic film and products with more than 10 resin varieties and more than 40 commodity names.

This achievement is not easy to achieve, but also proud of, calm down and think carefully, now really is not the time to celebrate. At the just-concluded annual meeting of the Agricultural Film Professional Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, Cao Jian, executive vice president of China Plastics Association, pointed out that although China's agricultural film output ranks first in the world, accounting for 60.5% of the world's agricultural film output, it can be called a big agricultural film country, but that's all. China is not a big country of agricultural film brand, let alone a strong country of agricultural film. The agricultural film industry should change from big to strong, and there is still a long way to go.

Achievements: output ranks first in the world, industry technology progress is obvious

Cao Zhiqiang, director of the Agricultural Film Special Committee, told the reporter of China Chemical Industry News that 2014 was a year of rapid development of China's agricultural film industry, and the total output of agricultural film nationwide reached 2.6 million tons. Among them, 1.18 million tons of shed film cover an area of about 61.6 million mu; 1.42 million tons of plastic film cover an area of about 380 million mu, ranking first in the world in terms of yield and coverage area. The application of agricultural film has made great contributions to improving land yield, enhancing agricultural disaster resistance and promoting the optimization of planting structure, and has played an increasingly important role in agricultural modernization and new rural construction.

It is understood that the current development of China's agricultural film industry presents three characteristics.

First, output resumed its rapid growth trend. Before 2012, China's agricultural film output increased at a high speed of more than 10% for three consecutive years; affected by the international financial crisis, the growth rate of agricultural film output dropped to 7.74% in 2012;2013 was a year out of the trough, and the growth rate rose to 13.6%; entering 2014, the agricultural film industry maintained vigorous vitality, with a growth rate of 15.7%, recovering its rapid growth trend and continuing to 2015; In the first quarter of this year, agricultural film production increased by nearly 20% year-on-year.

Second, the rise of agricultural film enterprises in the central region and their rapid growth. At present, Henan's agricultural film output is close to or even more than Shandong's, which plays an important role in balancing China's agricultural film industry pattern.

Third, the agricultural film output of the main provinces in the central and western regions was higher than that of the eastern coastal provinces for the first time, and the center of gravity of agricultural film output in China began to tilt gradually to the central and western regions.

Of course, the rapid growth of production and sales of agricultural film industry is closely related to the support of external environmental conditions. First of all, the environment at home and abroad provides good conditions for the rapid development of agricultural film industry. Secondly, many years of practice has made farmers realize that increasing production and income and getting rich cannot be separated from agricultural film. There is a slip that says well: plant a shed, get out of poverty that year; sell two shed melons, car drive home; household average three shed vegetables, small buildings can be built. This expresses farmers 'recognition of agricultural film and their sense of achievement after increasing production and income, which is the enduring source of strength of agricultural film industry. Third, agricultural modernization is much lower than industrial modernization. Due to the low basic surface, especially in the central and western regions, the popularity is not particularly high, and the growth rate is relatively high in the initial stage, which drives the rapid development of the agricultural film industry.

Tian Yan, deputy secretary-general of China Plastic Association, said that in recent years, China's agricultural film industry has shown a vigorous development trend. It is expected to exceed 2.8 million tons in 2015.

Tian Yan said that these years, China's agricultural film industry has made a lot of achievements.

First, the product structure has been optimized and the number of varieties has doubled. At the end of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, the proportion of high-grade, middle-grade and low-grade agricultural film products is 2%: 38%: 60%; at the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the proportion will reach 5%: 45%: 50%, high-grade and middle-grade products have increased their share, and the share of low-grade products has decreased by 10%. While the product structure was further optimized, the varieties of agricultural film doubled from 20 at the end of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan to more than 40 at the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.

Second, industrial concentration has increased and excess capacity has decreased. In 2010, there were only 30 backbone enterprises with an annual output of more than 10,000 tons in the industry, and only 50 enterprises with an annual output of 3,000 ~ 10,000 tons; at present, the number of these two types of enterprises has reached 42 and less than 100 respectively, and the industrial concentration has increased.

Third, the energy consumption per ton of products in the industry has dropped by more than 15%. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the share of high-grade agricultural film products increased from 40% to 50%, and the newly added 10% products increased from less than 1 year to 2~3 years, or even longer. This means that under the same energy consumption, it is equivalent to producing more than 15% of the products, which reduces the energy consumption per ton of products in the whole industry by more than 15%.

Fourth, fruitful scientific and technological achievements and breakthrough progress in research and development of high-end products. In 2014, the agricultural film industry won 22 awards from China Plastics Processing Industry Association and Light Industry Federation, which represented the advanced level of industry development. In addition, China has reached the world advanced level in coating solution, coating device, industrial production of coating film, etc., among which the rapid detection method of droplet performance, the development and industrialization of thin weather resistant functional film and light conversion film rank among the top in the world.
