Auricularia auricula belongs to a fungal vegetable, in which the planting method is completely different from ordinary vegetables, and its growth environment has certain requirements when planting. For example, temperature, moisture, nutrition, etc., are indispensable when planting agaric. Otherwise, the growth of the fungus will be seriously affected. So what exactly does the fungus require of the environment? The following small series brings you the environmental conditions needed for the growth of agaric. Let's take a look together!

1. Nutrition

Auricularia auricula has a very high demand for nutrients during its growth, and it is necessary to obtain nutrients such as nitrogen, carbon and inorganic salts from the planting substrate. Adequate nutrition can ensure the growth of Auricularia auricula, so in order to promote the growth of Auricularia auricula hyphae in cultivation, it is necessary to prepare appropriate amounts of wheat bran, rice bran and other substances with high nitrogen content. And Auricularia auricula also needs a certain amount of inorganic salts such as calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, so wood is generally used as a cultivation substrate.

2. Temperature

Each growth period of Auricularia auricula has different requirements for temperature, for example, when the fruiting body temperature should be maintained at about 23 degrees, the most suitable temperature for mycelium growth is between 23-28 degrees. In the suitable temperature range, if the temperature is low, although the growth cycle is long, but the fruit body grows well, the quality is strong, if the temperature is high, it is easy to cause excessive hypha growth, yield and quality decline. And if the high temperature and humidity will also lead to fruit body rot, there is a "flow ear" phenomenon.

3. Moisture

As with the temperature requirements of Auricularia auricula, there are different moisture requirements at each growth stage of Auricularia auricula. When hyphae grow, the moisture content of the log should be kept at about 38%, and the moisture content of the culture medium should be kept at 58%. Air humidity must not be lower than 70%. At the time of fruiting body formation, the requirement for moisture is higher, and the air humidity should increase to 92%. When it is lower than 80%, it will seriously affect the growth of fruiting body.

4. Air

Auricularia auricula growth is relatively aerobic, so when planting, it is necessary to ensure that the planting ground is sufficiently permeable and the air is circulated to meet the oxygen demand for the growth of Auricularia auricula mycelium. If the planting area is too closed and not easy to ventilate, the ear pieces of agaric are blocked, and it is easy to form deformed agaric such as chicken claw ears, resulting in loss of commodity value. And ensure good ventilation, but also can reduce the fungus moldy rot, infected by miscellaneous bacteria phenomenon.

5. Light

Auricularia auricularia in the mycelium growth stage, basically does not need light. However, during the growth of the fruiting body, a certain amount of light is needed, but it is necessary to pay attention not to let the sun shine directly, mainly scattered light. In the stage of fruiting body, if it is completely dark environment, Auricularia auricula is not suitable to form fruiting body primordium, and insufficient light will also inhibit the growth of fruiting body. Therefore, in planting, it is necessary to ensure that there is sufficient scattered light to promote the growth of agaric.

The above is a simple introduction to the environmental conditions required for the growth of Auricularia auricula, the planting substrate of Auricularia auricula is not soil, but wood. Therefore, there is a big difference between management and ordinary vegetable field management, so these are not only the growth environment requirements of agaric, but also the management work we need to do well in cultivation. Today's introduction is here, this article is for reference only, I hope to help everyone oh!
