Coriander generally has a normal sowing season in spring every year, because parsley prefers to grow in a cool environment. However, in summer, in order to meet the market demand, there are also some friends in out-of-season cultivation. Out-of-season cultivation of coriander needs to pay attention to temperature, environment and other factors, and its market price will also rise. So how to cultivate parsley out of season? The following editor brings you the out-of-season cultivation techniques of coriander, let's have a look!

1. Seed treatment

Before planting, we should choose the seeds with no diseases and insect pests, no wounds and high yield, because the germination ability of coriander seeds in the high temperature environment is relatively weak. Therefore, before planting, it is also necessary to soak the seeds to accelerate germination, first soak the seeds in carbendazim and other agents for about 30 minutes, and then remove them and wash them with clean water. Then soak it in cold water for a day or so, then wrap it in a wet cloth and put it in an environment of about 22-24 degrees for budding. It is best to turn the seeds once a day and sow when about 80% of the seeds are white.

2. Soil preparation and fertilization

The soil for planting coriander needs to be selected in a place with normal drainage and irrigation, soft and deep, and sufficient fertility. Then the ground preparation is about 22 cm, and shading measures should be set up. In order to facilitate the construction of shading measures, the beds should be arranged into specifications of 110 cm, 25 cm, 35 cm in height. The growth cycle of coriander is relatively short, so we also need to apply sufficient base fertilizer, which is dominated by rotten farm manure and supplemented by compound fertilizer. Fully mix fertilizer with soil, improve soil fertility, promote the growth of coriander, and then flatten the border for planting.

3. Timely farming

When sowing in summer and autumn, usually sowing around June every year, we should pay attention to the sowing amount, the sowing amount per mu should not exceed two jin. The appropriate sowing rate can not only ensure the yield, but also improve the quality of coriander. Then when sowing, we must pay attention to the sowing density to prevent the growth from being too dense and influence each other's growth. Pour enough water to improve the soil moisture, spread it evenly on the soil, cover the fine soil after sowing, and then cover the grass with plastic film to improve the soil moisture conservation ability, remove it after a week or so, and pay attention to keep the soil moist before emergence.

4. Field management

The higher temperature in summer has a great influence on the growth of coriander. Therefore, after the plastic film straw is removed, the sunshade net should be built in time, and the sunshade net should be opened at night to improve the permeability of the field. To prevent too closed coriander seedlings slim, causing a variety of diseases and insect pests. Then the seedlings began to grow about a week after the completion of the seedlings, based on the principle of staying strong and removing the weak. Set the seedling in time when growing two leaves or so, and control the distance between the plants at about 3 cm. Watering the seedlings about a week or so, and began to topdressing when the seedlings grew to about 4 centimeters, and paid attention to the topdressing of foliar fertilizer in the middle and later stages to promote the growth of leaves.

The above is a brief introduction to the off-season cultivation techniques of coriander, and we should also pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests when cultivating parsley in off-season. Give priority to prevention, a variety of control methods are combined to reduce the incidence of diseases and insect pests. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only.
