On December 1, the reporter learned from the Central Meteorological Observatory that in the next three days, there will be heavy snowfall in most of Northeast China and central and eastern Inner Mongolia. Among them, Heilongjiang has a heavy snowfall, there will be blizzard to blizzard locally, and the daily snowfall will approach or exceed the historical extreme value of the same period.

"the main snowfall period occurred from the 1st to the 3rd, with the largest snowfall on the 2nd and a slight weakening on the 3rd." He Lifu, chief forecaster of the Central Meteorological Station, said, "this snowfall is the largest and strongest snowfall since the beginning of winter this year, with a general snowfall of 8 mm to 20 mm and a local snowfall of 25 mm to 30 mm. The snow cover is generally 5 cm to 10 cm, and the maximum amount of snow may be 15 mm to 20 mm. "

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, the snowfall gradually intensified on the night of the 1st, with sleet in most of Liaoning, turning to snow in the north, and heavy to blizzard in the northeast of Inner Mongolia, most of Jilin and the south of Heilongjiang. As the snow area moves eastward, there will be a blizzard in most areas of eastern Jilin and Heilongjiang on the 2nd, with more than 10 mm of blizzard in the north and east of Heilongjiang and a local blizzard of about 20 mm. Until the 3rd, the snowfall is weaker than the previous magnitude and range, but the cumulative snowfall can reach 25 mm to 30 mm, with the maximum snowfall in Heilongjiang.

He Lifu pointed out that the snowfall is strong in intensity, large in scope, long in duration, and deep in snow, which can easily lead to snow, icing and reduced visibility on the road surface, and there are certain hidden dangers to road traffic safety; greenhouses, temporary structures, grain storage, animal husbandry, and electric power will all be adversely affected, so relevant departments need to be reminded to take precautions.

In addition, with the attack of strong cold air, there will be a cooling of 6 ℃ to 8 ℃ in central Inner Mongolia and the southern part of Northeast China, and a local cooling of 10 ℃. The above areas will be accompanied by strong winds of 4 to 5, and winds of up to 6 in some parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia.
