Last Updated: 2024/09/07, Rush to the small station to hold hands with tens of millions of families to resolve the difficulties in selling agricultural products in Renshou, Sichuan, a typical agricultural county. There are many gold-lettered signboards such as the national high-quality fruit base county, the national high-quality pig transferred to the big county, the hometown of loquat in China, and so on. However, the long-term difficulties in selling and buying are still farmers.

"rush to the market station" hand in hand with thousands of families to resolve the difficulties in selling agricultural products

Renshou, Sichuan, is a typical agricultural county. There are many gold-lettered signboards such as "National High-quality Fruit Base County", "National High-quality Pig transfer County", "hometown of Loquat in China" and so on. However, the long-term "difficult to sell and buy" is still a hurdle that is difficult for farmers to increase their income.

How to solve the problem? In early 2014, Renshou County decided to take the lead in the development of e-commerce. The county set up an e-commerce association and set up an e-commerce industry development fund. In May last year, e-commerce was officially launched into rural areas.

"our loquat is the first tree in the world, and people in Beijing and Shanghai will be able to taste something fresh the next day!" It is the peak season for loquat sales. Xu Youkun, 61, from Feiyue Village, Wengong Town, is proud. Since e-commerce entered the village last year, he has a dual identity: president of the village fruit industry professional cooperative and vice president of the county e-commerce association.

There are more than 130 farmers in cooperatives, with an annual loquat output of nearly 300000 jin. In recent years, the output has become larger and larger, but the market has become more and more worried. This year is different. During the "online Loquat Festival" held in the county, their price per jin was 8 yuan higher than that of previous years. On the opening day, they sold more than 10,000 jin and earned more than 200,000 yuan. "in the past, I only knew how to grow, but I didn't know much about selling. Thanks to the attentive help of the government, we walked into the 'rush to the market station'. " Xu Youkun said.

Villages and towns to build "rush to the market small station", hand in hand with tens of thousands of families, connecting the big market, this is Renshou's move to explore e-commerce into the village.

Wang Weiyi, deputy secretary of the Renshou County CPC Committee, said that there are more than 400 administrative villages in the county, each of which has its own agricultural products with its own characteristics. The county has made great efforts to export these products through the Internet platform.

To build a "rush station", what if there is a shortage of people? Renshou County has established an online business training system to promote multi-level training in an orderly manner, such as vocational education students, college student village officials, "rush to the market" administrators and so on. In 2014, more than 10, 000 people were trained and 5020 e-commerce employees were incubated, of whom more than 1400 successfully opened stores.

Wang Xiaofang, a girl in Renshou County, became an online businessman in Water Conservancy Village from a clothing salesman with a considerable income. She said that thanks to the online business training organized by the county last year and a month and a half of study, she crossed the threshold of primary, intermediate and advanced and received a certificate of practice.

The entry of large-scale and fully covered e-commerce into rural areas has not only made it convenient to buy and sell, but also accelerated farmers' dream of being well-off: in 2010, the per capita net income of farmers in the county jumped to 5621 yuan, while last year it jumped to 9870 yuan. "the 'rush to the market' enables farmers to become online merchants, realizes the localization of information flow, cash flow, logistics and business flow, and opens a new era of rural e-commerce." Industry experts say.

Cross-border integration, two-way circulation, "the same as the well-off road, a household does not fall"

"Cross-border integration and two-way circulation" is another innovative model of Renshou County.

In view of the projects supporting the construction of the new countryside, Renshou County integrates the resources of existing logistics, farm stores, financial services and large e-commerce enterprises across the border to serve the rural areas and farmers to the maximum extent.

The "rush to the market" connects the basic data of rural credit and explores the development of farmers' credit loan service. In order to solve the last kilometer of logistics, "rush to the market station" cooperates with Post and JD.com to optimize the route and achieve low-cost "two-way logistics".

Today, Renshou County has built a county-level e-commerce service center, 15 township regional distribution centers, 60 township-level e-commerce service stations, 400 village-level e-commerce service points. The average annual growth of e-commerce transaction volume is more than 30%, and the logistics cost is reduced by more than 20%. In the first quarter of 2015, 2023 new e-commerce employees were trained, and the average daily purchase volume of township and village-level "market stations" exceeded 230pieces.

Farmers do business online, which has become a fashion and trend in Renshou County.

Ye Cuiyun, who is in her 50s in Shuili Village, talks about the changes in her selling native eggs: in the past, she had to walk a few miles to sell eggs, and she carried them on her back to the market to sell them, but others still didn't recognize them and couldn't get a good price. Sometimes the farm work is busy, and when the eggs are kept for dozens of days, the good guy becomes the bad guy. Since the "rush station" was built in the village, Ye Cuiyun has been able to sell it at a good price while sitting at home.

Wan Xiaoling, who lives in Zhongxiang Town, had polio since childhood and could not find a good way to get a job. After attending a training course for online merchants in the county in October last year, she opened an online shop on Taobao and chose an interesting name called "Guifei Xiao". Relying on local fruit industry resources, she has sold more than 30,000 jin of fruit "do not know Fire" since she opened the shop, with a turnover of more than 100,000 yuan. She really smiled happily: "without e-commerce into the countryside, there would be no me today."

In Renshou, e-commerce connects thousands of households, benefits ordinary people, and makes college students jealous. A group of college students returning to their hometown and foreign college students have opened shops to "Taobao". Li Yunhao, 23, went straight to Renshou County for online business training after graduating from a university in Chengdu in August last year, and now his net income is stable at more than 10,000 yuan a month.
