Puccinellia oleifera generally grows in relatively shallow water and is a kind of wild vegetable widely distributed in our country. Wild herbs generally grow in streams, rivers, ponds, shoals, rice fields and other areas. With the improvement of people's living standards, the previously worthless vegetables have become very popular. But after all, wild resources are limited, so do you know how to grow wild vegetables? Now let's study together.

1. Planting site selection and consolidation

If you want to grow cabbage, you must choose a good place to grow it. If you choose the wrong place, it is very difficult to grow it successfully. It has high requirements on the planting environment, it needs sufficient water resources, the soil is rich in humus, the mud is neutral or slightly acidic, the soil layer is deep, but the permeability is strong. After selecting the planting site, turn the land over, and then carry out appropriate disinfection and soil improvement, add farm manure to the soil to improve soil fertility, and then first add about three centimeters of shallow water to soak the field.

2. Methods of reproduction

The reproduction methods of Artemisia angustifolia can be divided into oil reproduction and asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction refers to seed reproduction, while asexual reproduction refers to plant division and cutting propagation. Seed propagation is usually carried out in March and sown when the temperature rises to about 15 degrees in early April. When sowing, spread the seeds evenly in the field, and then gently pat the seeds into the soil. Ramet propagation is usually carried out in March every year, dividing the overgrown plants and then forming separate plants for planting. As long as the cutting propagation is carried out at a time with better climatic conditions, the stems and leaves of Rabdosia angustifolia should be retained, and then the cuttings can be inserted into the field.

3. Fertilizer and water management

After the green vegetables emerge and survive, we need to deepen the water level appropriately according to their growth. The growth of Chinese cabbage needs enough water, so there can be no shortage of water. In the early stage of the growth of Chinese cabbage, the water level of the planting area should be kept at about 5 centimeters, but in the later stage, the water level had better not exceed 30 centimeters, because too high water content will also affect the growth of Chinese cabbage. In the normal growth process, we usually apply fertilizer after each harvest, or when the leaves turn yellow. Among them, it is mainly nitrogen fertilizer, and it should be combined with the use of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Sometimes just add feces, urine, water or compound fertilizer directly.

4. Remove weeds

Because puccinellia oleifera is also a kind of weed, so it is usually accompanied by the growth of many weeds, so it is not possible to prevent nutrients from being absorbed by other weeds, so we should remove the weeds in time. We can use regular flood-drought rotation to reduce weeds, and to improve the quality of herbs, so as to reduce weeds with seedlings, and finally, we can use chemicals to weed or pull weeds manually.

The cultivation of Chinese cabbage is relatively simple, as long as the planting environment meets the standard, the yield of extensive planting mode is also very considerable. Another thing when planting is to be prepared to prevent aphids, otherwise it will have a great impact on the quality of Chinese cabbage.
