Last Updated: 2024/11/06, After five years in the countryside, I think there are a lot of things to do. Sun Qinglin, a 28-year-old college student village official in Fuxian County, Shaanxi Province, recently said at the Ninth National University Student Village officials Forum held in Hufang Village, Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang City, that he wanted to sell apples in his hometown to more and more through the Internet.

"after five years in the countryside, I think there are a lot of things to do." Sun Qinglin, a 28-year-old college student village official in Fuxian County, Shaanxi Province, recently said at the Ninth National University Student Village officials Forum held in Hufang Village, Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang City, that he wants to sell apples from his hometown to farther places through the Internet, so that fruit farmers can have a good harvest.

In 2010, Sun Qinglin graduated from a university in Hunan and returned to his hometown in Shaanxi to be admitted as a college student village official. When he returned to the countryside, Sun Qinglin began to think about entrepreneurial projects. In 2012, Sun Qinglin led fruit growers to set up a green apple professional cooperative in Hengkang Plateau, Fuxian County, Shaanxi Province, which was joined by more than 30 fruit farmers. In 2014, cooperatives began to supply e-commerce. "Village cadres should try first, and only if they make achievements first and make fruit growers feel profitable, will they follow suit."

Attending the National University Student Village officials Forum, Sun Qinglin met nearly 300 outstanding university student village officials from all over the country. They set up a liaison and communication group to show their respective specialties and projects and recommend each other. "this is a very good platform to expand not only the sales channels, but also the thinking of starting a business."

Since our country started the work of college student village officials for eight years, tens of thousands of young people like Sun Qinglin have gradually grown into a new force to promote entrepreneurship in rural areas of our country.

The 2015 report on the Development of Chinese University Student Village officials released at the current University Student Village officials Forum pointed out that university student village officials everywhere have taken the lead in starting businesses in rural areas, showing them to farmers, leading them to work, and helping them to get rich. Many gratifying results have been achieved. By the end of 2014, more than 22700 university student village officials had started their own businesses, founded nearly 17000 entrepreneurial projects, led 4293 co-operative societies, and provided more than 220000 jobs for farmers.

"in the process of starting a business and getting rich together with the common people, we have greatly improved our understanding of the lives of the grassroots, as well as our understanding of society." Zhang Xiaobo, first secretary of the party branch of the Kesong neighborhood Committee in Xizang Shannan County, said, "doing a thing is not as simple as imagined, and it takes a lot of setbacks to hone a firm belief."

"starting a business in rural areas especially requires confidence, perseverance and endurance." In an exchange with representatives of university student village officials, Wei Niugeng, first secretary of the party committee of Hufang Village and a national labor model, said that Hufang Village started with 8000 yuan and developed from a famous poor village to a modern new village full of high-rise buildings. It is the result of a generation's hard work. "although the current entrepreneurial environment in some rural areas is difficult, with the support of national policies, opportunities for Internet entrepreneurship, and college student village officials have knowledge and entrepreneurial enthusiasm, as long as they can carry forward the spirit of hard work, they will make great achievements in rural areas."
