The millennium fruit is a new variety cultivated from the virgin fruit, and many people often confuse it with the virgin fruit. In fact, there is a difference between them. So how to grow millennium fruit? Let's get to know it with the editor.

1. Sowing and raising seedlings

The seedlings can be raised in arch shed or solar greenhouse, and the suitable time for raising seedlings is in the middle and late August. Cocoa uses soilless hole plate to raise seedlings, usually using peat, vermiculite, perlite and slag as seedling substrate. Soak the seeds in warm water of 50-60 degrees for 10 minutes before sowing, and stir constantly, then soak the seeds in warm water of about 30 degrees for about 5 hours, then disinfect them with chlorothalonil solution for 10-15 minutes, rinse them out with clean water and hang them slightly, accelerate germination at 25-30 degrees, and sow seeds when the seeds are white. The seedlings are raised in the pot, sown in each hole to benefit, cover with a layer of vermiculite with 0.5cm thickness, and after watering, cover with plastic film to protect moisture. When emerging, plastic film should be removed in time, and water management should be done well, keep the temperature between 18-30 degrees, properly ventilated, and be ready to plant when the seedlings grow 5-6 true leaves.

2. Soil preparation and fertilization

Millennium fruit is an infinite growth type cherry tomato. In order to ensure its annual high yield and high quality, 3000 kg of high quality farm manure, 50 kg of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer and 1 kg of borax should be applied per mu of soil preparation. Ridging after shaping rake leveling, generally large row spacing 90cm, small row spacing 70cm, ridge height 15-20cm. It is also possible to dig a deep ditch after ridging, apply base fertilizer into the ditch, return to the soil evenly and then plant in the ridge.

3. Colonization

The planting selection is carried out in cloudy or sunny afternoon, when the seedling grows to 5-6 true leaves and the plant height is 15-20cm, it can be planted with double-stem pruning, plant spacing 40-40cm, 2000-2200 plants per mu; if it is single-stem pruning, the plant spacing is about 30cm and 2500 plants per mu. When planting, do not bury the soil too deep, motion stalks rot, and then water to slow down the seedlings.

4. Field management

Keep the temperature between 18-28 degrees after planting, pay attention to heat preservation in winter, not less than 12 degrees, so as to avoid plant frost damage, 5-7 days after planting, loosen the soil once in watering, pay attention to the amount of water. Apply fertilizer in time when the fruit is enlarged, and then water it every 20 days. Pay attention to watering as much as possible. During the flowering and fruiting period, foliar fertilizer can be sprayed 2-3 times in order to increase yield, promote flower bud differentiation and centralized harvest. In order to achieve the annual result, pruning is necessary, that is, double-stem pruning, that is, leaving one main vine and one side vine hanging at the same time, and all the other side branches are knocked off; if the single stem pruning leaves except one main vine, all the other side branches are beaten, and at the same time, the old leaves and diseased leaves are removed in time to reduce diseases and insect pests and increase permeability.
