Last Updated: 2024/11/05, There are many varieties of Haitong. It has strong adaptability to the climate, and it also has a lot of benefits. In addition to being able to let people watch, it can also absorb sulfur dioxide. In addition, it can also stop bleeding and dissipate blood stasis, which can be said to be a multi-functional integration. This is why people tend to grow it in the garden. Generally speaking, Haitong is very easy to breed. So if you have the idea of breeding, you can also raise it from its infancy. Let's talk about what the specific method looks like.

1. Sowing method

Haitong has its own seeds, its seeds are in its pulp, and the fruit ripens from October to November. The color of the ripe fruit is not the same as when it is not ripe, the former is yellow and the latter is cyan. We also need a certain method to collect seeds, and this method is also quite simple. We just need to sun up the fruits we have collected, and after the peel is cracked, we can knock out the seeds.

After that, we need a certain method of treatment, then we need plant ash, we put it with wet water, then scrub the seeds, and then we can get pure seeds. Of course, the seeds also need to be stored in a certain way, and can not be formally sown until March.

Generally speaking, the germination rate of sown seeds is not low, but it is not very high, only about 50%. Because the seedling grows very slowly, we have to wait until it is long enough for two years before it can be officially planted in the pot, and then we have to wait until the third or fourth year before we can plant it in the nursery. When transplanting, we must remember to bring soil to the roots.

2. Cutting method

The cutting time is in spring. It is more convenient at this time, when we grow new leaves, we get the necessary buds out for cutting. However, the bud is also required, its year should be one to two years old, the length should be about 15 centimeters.

We have to cut it, and then the action we have to take is to insert it into the wet sand bed. When cutting, we should control the light intensity well, the light does not need to be too strong, astigmatism can, in addition to remember to maintain the humidity.

Generally speaking, it takes about 20 days to take root, while it takes two or three years to transplant to the nursery. Usually we need to water, but also remember to fertilize, but also remember to prune.
