Doll vegetables are called cabbage in many places, very popular, it is sweet and delicious, loved by many people, and with its growing market demand, many people also began to grow doll vegetables in the greenhouse. The following editor brings you the planting and management skills of baby vegetables in the greenhouse, let's take a look.

1. Variety selection

Baby vegetables should be selected according to seasonal changes. Baby vegetables sown in spring should choose bolting resistant varieties with better cold tolerance, such as Gaoli Yu doll, mini star, etc., because the temperature is lower in spring and higher in summer. it is necessary to choose disease-resistant varieties with good heat tolerance and early heart, such as Rebebe. The temperature is cool in autumn, so the requirements for varieties are not high, but no matter which variety is sown, we should choose a variety suitable for local needs, and pay attention to the factors such as fast enveloping, symmetrical growth, upper and lower thickness, disease resistance and so on.

2. Temperature requirement

Doll vegetable is a semi-cold-tolerant vegetable, its growth temperature is between 5-25 degrees, and the suitable temperature for seed germination is 25 degrees, so in the low or high temperature season, if it wants to germinate smoothly, it needs to be accelerated. The suitable temperature for the growth of leaves and bulbs is 15-25 degrees. When the temperature is lower than 15 degrees, its growth will be very slow, when the temperature is lower than 5 degrees, it is easy to produce freezing damage, and when the temperature is higher than 25 degrees, it will be infected with virus disease. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the temperature control when planting in the greenhouse.

3. Fertilization

Baby vegetable grows faster and needs more fertilizer. In addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer during sowing, 10-15 kg compound fertilizer per mu is still needed as base fertilizer, while 15 kg superphosphate is applied to calcium-deficient or alkaline soil. This is conducive to the similarity of baby vegetables to calcium. In order to combine topdressing and irrigation throughout the growing period, a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied as seedling fertilizer at the seedling stage, and more fertilizer should be provided when the plant enters the rosette stage, topdressing urea and potassium sulfate 1-2 times per mu, or foliar spraying 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate twice, and topdressing fertilizer according to the specific growth conditions of the plant in the later growth stage.

4. Watering

When the seedling stage is dry, it should be watered in time, and the principle of watering is that small water is often watered frequently. At other times, there is no need to water, so as to keep the soil moist. The squatting seedlings should be properly controlled in the early stage of the baby vegetable rosette, and the water should be irrigated in time after squatting seedlings to avoid affecting the water demand for vegetable growth because of drought. The rosette stage of baby vegetable is the peak period of plant water demand, which needs to be watered frequently with small water. in order to ensure that there is no water on the ridge surface, the root system is not short of water, and can not be flooded with water, to avoid excessive plant growth, or when the humidity is too high, stop watering one week before harvest.
