China's agricultural pollution emissions account for half of total pollution emissions
At present, agricultural pollution emissions in China have accounted for half of the total pollution emissions. The Ministry of Environmental Protection said it will continue to strengthen the continuous improvement of the rural environment this year.
It is understood that at present, nearly 90% of China's rural areas are facing environmental "loss of governance." Qiu Qiwen, deputy director of the Ecology Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, said that China's rural environment is facing the problem of insufficient governance and large debts, which has become an obvious deficiency in the current social development.
Qiu Qiwen: there are 590000 villages in the country, and the sewage treatment is less than 10%, and the treatment of domestic waste is about one-third.
At present, 900 rural environmental renovation projects have been launched in Chongqing, and environmental renovation projects in Dalian and other places have achieved initial results this year, with a sewage treatment rate of more than 60%. In Fuzhou, many villages and towns have built garbage transfer stations to transport the compressed garbage directly to the designated places in the city for disposal.
Liu Yangfeng, branch secretary of Tingtou Village, Mawei District, Fuzhou: after being compressed inside, the sewage is also discharged into the sewage pipe network. now not only his own village, but also the surrounding surrounding villages also transport the garbage here, and the transit of the surrounding garbage villages has improved a lot.
Qiu Qiwen said that the Ministry of Environmental Protection will continue to promote the continuous renovation project of the rural environment, especially will strengthen the environmental control of the water source along the south-to-north water diversion project and maintain the safety line of water quality.
Qiu Qiwen: this year is the water source of the South-to-North Water transfer Project, as well as the villages along the water transmission line. 20,000 to 30,000 villages that have a direct impact on water quality are to be renovated and treated in a net-pulling and full-coverage manner.
At the same time, in view of the lack of management of completed projects in some places and the unsustainable effect of pollution control, the Ministry of Environmental Protection will explore the establishment of a long-term management and protection mechanism for rural environmental governance.
Qiu Qiwen: to achieve the promotion of the whole line, consider the sewage, garbage, livestock and poultry droppings as a whole.
