Konjac is a kind of underground root vegetable, which has a great market demand in our country. Now there are many ways to grow konjac, among which direct seeding and seedling transplanting are common. However, most of them are mainly seedling transplanting, because compared with direct seeding, seedling transplanting can increase production by about 12%. However, when raising seedlings and transplanting, it is necessary to make preparations for all aspects of Konjac. Then let's take a look at the seedling technology of konjac seeds with Xiaobian.

1. Seedbed preparation

Before raising seedlings, we should first prepare the seedbed, the width of the seedbed should be kept at about 130cm, and then dig trenches around the seedbed, keeping the depth of the trench at about 15cm. And around according to the size of the taro to do a good job of the ridge, the general height is maintained at about 12 centimeters, the width of the middle sowing is controlled at about 1 meter. Then we should pay attention to cover the arch shed, increase the temperature of the seedling bed and promote the sprouting of taro. The time of seedling bed preparation should be done one week before seed germination.

2. Preparation of taro

After preparing the seedbed, we need to prepare the seed taro. The germination of konjac seed should be carried out four weeks before sowing. First of all, take out the high-quality taro on a sunny day, and then disinfect the taro. The seed taro can be directly soaked in agricultural streptomycin for about a day, or soaked in antimicrobial agent 401 for about 10 minutes. Can also use cupric sulfate aqueous solution, methyl topiramate and other agents for disinfection. After sterilization, the taro will be stuffed for about 7 hours, then put in the sun for about two hours, and then separated according to the size of the taro.

3. Sowing seeds at the right time

When sowing taro, we should pay attention to sowing separately according to the size of the taro. Try to ensure that the buds of all kinds of taros can be flush, and pay attention to keeping a distance of about one finger between each kind of taro. Then spray the taro, after spraying, cover a layer of about two centimeters of wet soil. If the soil is not dry, there is no need to water it, and then finish the construction of the arch shed after covering the soil. In order to avoid excessive humidity of the seedbed, it is not necessary to cover the film, and the power frame of the arch film should pay attention to insert it at the edge of the ditch to prevent water vapor from flowing into the seedbed to cause excessive humidity.

4. Manage transplanting

If the seedbed soil is white and dry, then you can properly irrigate a little water, not too large, to avoid excessive humidity leading to disease. Then do a good job of temperature management, when the buds of taro grow to about 1.5 cm, they can be transplanted when they begin to take root. If the root is too long, it is easy to be hurt when transplanting. If the field is covered with plastic film, it can be transplanted about a week earlier, and the seedling time can also be raised one week earlier. In transplanting, if there is a diseased taro, then it should be picked out, and those without sprouting should wait until they sprout before transplanting. Remember that rotten or diseased taro should not be selected to ensure the normal growth of konjac.

The above is a brief introduction of konjac seed breeding technology, today's introduction is here, this article is only for reference, I hope to help you!
