Zhang Ruiming said that at present, in terms of composition, the nutritional value of organic and ordinary agricultural products is almost the same, but the consumption of organic agricultural products will be safer and more assured.

According to the actual development of our province and the consumption level of citizens, pollution-free vegetables still occupy the absolute market demand, while green and organic vegetables have a negligible market share because of the influence of production costs and market prices.

Zhang Ruiming suggested that from the point of view of enterprises, selecting their own superior products and doing organic certification for agricultural products with high acceptance in the market is the icing on the cake, such as apples and kiwifruit in our province, the sales effect will be better; while the effect of rice and edible fungi is not so obvious. However, it is necessary to recognize the international advanced nature of organic agriculture, open up the high-end market as far as possible, take the form of direct sales or specialty stores, and broaden the sales channels.

In order to turn ecological advantages into economic benefits, Yangxian County allocated 5 million yuan of special funds every year to support the development of the organic industry, which increased to 6 million yuan last year to support the certification of organic products and the purchase of organic fertilizers.
