The reporter learned from the Agriculture Department of the Ministry of Finance on the 20th: a few days ago, the central government allocated 13.89 billion yuan in poverty alleviation funds to support poverty alleviation and development in poor rural areas.

It is reported that in 2015, the central finance implemented the relevant spirit of the outline of China's Rural Poverty Alleviation and Development (2011-2020). The budget allocated poverty alleviation funds to subsidize local governments of 46.09 billion yuan, an increase of 8% over the previous year, mainly including development funds of 37.01 billion yuan, ethnic minority development funds of 4 billion yuan, work relief funds of 4.1 billion yuan, "Sanxi" funds of 300 million yuan, and poverty alleviation funds of 420 million yuan for state-owned poor forest farms. The poverty alleviation fund for state-owned poverty-stricken farms is 260 million yuan. So far, all funds have been allocated.

In addition, in order to implement the spirit of the opinions on innovative mechanisms to solidly promote rural poverty alleviation and development, the central government continues to increase investment in poverty alleviation and development, focusing on supporting poverty alleviation in a series of areas with special difficulties. At the same time, we will innovate the mechanism for the use of poverty alleviation funds, explore pilot projects to help the poor with asset income, and continue to carry out pilot projects to support local governments to concentrate their efforts on solving the problem of outstanding poverty. We will vigorously support poverty alleviation and development in poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas, promote the action of invigorating the border and enriching the people, improve the pilot policy on the protection and development of villages with ethnic minority characteristics, and promote the development of ethnic minorities with a small population. We will continue to do a good job in providing relief for work, poverty alleviation on state-owned poverty-stricken farms and forest farms, and the construction of the "three western regions".
