Sesame is an important oil crop and cash crop in China, which is planted in all regions of China. Sesame is a fertilizer-loving crop and has a large demand for rainy fertility. Therefore, in order to achieve high yield, fertilization must be done well. So how should sesame be fertilized? Let's take a look at the high-yield fertilization technology of sesame seeds.

1. Apply sufficient base fertilizer

Applying enough base fertilizer is beneficial to promote the rapid growth of sesame root system, promote the development of root system, the growth of taproot, the increase of lateral roots, the faster absorption of nutrients and water, the strong growth of planting, the wide leaves, the enhancement of photosynthesis, and the more flowering and seed setting. Base fertilizer application must be in place at one time. Sesame main root layer is shallow. When applying base fertilizer, it is suitable to apply in 10cm soil layer. The application amount of base fertilizer accounts for about 70% of the total fertilizer. Generally, organic fertilizer or farm manure is mainly used, with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Generally, 2000-2500kg of organic fertilizer or completely decomposed farm manure is applied per mu, and 20kg of phosphorus fertilizer, 10kg of potassium fertilizer and a small amount of boron fertilizer are matched.

2, clever bud fertilizer

When sesame grows to bud stage, it begins to enter flower bud differentiation stage, which is the fastest growing period of planting nutrition, so it is extremely important to apply bud fertilizer skillfully at this time. Fertilization at budding stage is mainly nitrogen fertilizer, supplemented by phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. When applying fertilizer, the method of strip application or spot application is adopted. The fertilizer is applied into the soil layer at 10cm to facilitate root absorption. After fertilization, the soil is covered. Fertilizers and soil can also be mixed for sowing, intertillage and weeding after fertilization, and watering in time after fertilization when the soil is dry, so as to exert fertilizer efficiency as soon as possible.

3. Heavy fertilizer application

Sesame in the flowering period, when the fastest growth period, the absorption of fertility is also the largest, accounting for 70%-80% of the total growth period of nutrients absorbed. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of plant growth and promote rapid plant growth, in order to make more flowers, more seeds, increase yield, flowering fertilizer must be re-applied. Generally, 5-8 kg urea per mu is applied. In order to avoid root burning, it can be dissolved into low concentration dissolved oxygen when fertilizing. In full bloom, 15kg ammonium sulfate per mu can be applied.

4. Do a good job of foliar fertilizer

According to experiments, it is proved that spraying potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution for 2-3 times at flowering stage can increase the weight of 1000 seeds by 0.09 g, and the yield increase rate reaches 19%. The first time spraying foliar fertilizer is at the initial flowering stage, the second time is 5-7 days after the first time, and the third time is selectively sprayed according to the growth situation. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 200-250 grams per mu, diluted with water about 50kg can be sprayed, spraying foliar fertilizer to pay attention to the time, choose in the cloudy or sunny evening best, avoid interference due to high temperature or rain, prevent evaporation of water or rain away, this is conducive to good absorption by leaves.
