The countdown to the opening of the 2013 China Lanbo Expo has been entered. More than 80 plaques have been made for more than half a year to improve the construction of venues.

Pink wall Daiwa, warped eaves and flower windows make people seem to travel through time and space and place themselves in the classical gardens of the Ming and Qing dynasties; corridors, landscape walls, corners, winding paths, etc., more incisively and vividly interpret the simple and elegant, elegant and exquisite Jiangnan water gardens. Entering the exhibition area of the Lanbo Expo, the first thing that came into view was a piece of Jiangnan classical garden architecture in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the two characters "Lanpu" engraved on the plaque in front of the court were particularly eye-catching.

No garden can be made without water, and water is an important part of Jiangnan classical gardens. According to the person in charge of the Xincheng Orchid Horticulture Company, Lanpu, as a characteristic hall of the Orchid Expo, is based on the idea of the China Orchid Association's "combination of the Lanbo Fair with modern agricultural landscape, Jiangnan classical gardens, orchid culture and characteristic culture". The venue is surrounded by water on all sides, covering an area of more than 100 mu, with a construction area of more than 5800 square meters, with a total investment of nearly 50 million yuan.

There is no stone in the park, and the orchid garden is characterized by rockery. Of the 8 stones in the park, 6 are Taihu Lake stone and 2 Lingbi stone, all of which are single peak stones. According to reports, in the construction of the venue, the staff skillfully combined eight stones with orchid, plum, bamboo, chrysanthemum, pine, lotus, peony, wax plum and other plants. For example, the Taihu Lake stone at the entrance is the representative stone of orchids, which is called "secluded valley orchid fragrance".

There are 108 brick flower windows in the whole orchid garden, from Meilan bamboo chrysanthemum to Fu Lu Shouxi. The patterns of each flower window are different. They are all hand-carved by skilled brick carvers in Suzhou, and each window costs thousands of yuan alone. There are more than 80 plaques of all sizes in the Orchid Garden, all of which extend to the calligraphers of all dynasties, from the calligrapher Wang Xizhi to the famous calligraphers such as Mi Xi, Su Shi and Zhao Mengfu, to Dong Qichang, Wang Shizhen and Wu Meicun, who are familiar to the people of Taicang. It took more than half a year to collect and process the handwriting on these plaques. The person in charge said that every part of the Orchid Garden Building strives to show the characteristics of the water villages in the south of the Yangtze River and excavate the details of classical gardens. During the Lanbo Expo, it will serve as a characteristic pavilion to display fine orchids from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hubei, Sichuan and other parts of the country. at the same time, orchid culture and Loudong culture exhibition area will be set up. Hundreds of rare plants gather in the orchid garden, flowers and plants are all interesting.

From Qingqian willow, known as the "giant panda" in the plant world, to the rare domestic sound bamboo, and then to the well-known golden nanmu. According to the person in charge of the Xincheng Orchid Horticulture Company, there are about hundreds of domestic rare tree species in the orchid garden, in addition to beech, elm, park and other local tree species, more are selected from Henan, Hebei, Zhejiang, Shandong, Anhui and other places, such as begonia, plum tree, black pine, Shengyin bamboo, century-old peony and other domestic rare plants, each tree has to go through layers of "beauty pageant", the crown should be beautiful, and the breast diameter should be large enough. In order to be qualified to be planted in the orchid garden.

The peony plant is more than one person tall, the branches are as thick as the bowl mouth, and the bamboo planted in the garden is also not small. The official said that these peonies are all century-old peonies, with a total of 10 trees, each with a height of more than 2.2 meters, with red, yellow, pink, purple and so on. At present, the total number of peonies in China is less than 200, so these peonies are very precious. The age of 10 hundred-year-old peonies adds up to a thousand years, and it is the "Qianqiu National Beauty" scenic area in the Twelve scenes of the Orchid Garden. Bamboo is Shengyin bamboo, a valuable ornamental bamboo species, there are only about 500 in the country, 50 have been introduced into the Orchid Garden, and planted along the river to form a unique "Ying Lan Bamboo Sea".

At present, the countdown to the opening of the Lanbo Expo has entered, and the preparatory work has entered the sprint stage.
