At present, the 3.5 million jin of wheat harvested has been sold only 300000 jin.

The reporter learned that this year, in some counties and cities along the Huaihe River in Anhui Province, affected by the overcast and rainy weather during the harvest period, the quality of wheat is generally not high, and it is difficult to meet the minimum standard for the purchase of wheat in the state-supported market. there are many large grain growers like Xu Ziyu who have fallen into "difficulty in selling grain." At the same time, many grain depots also face "difficulty in grain harvest" because the quality of wheat is not up to standard, and the progress of purchasing summer grain is obviously lagging behind.

It is difficult for farmers to sell grain and it is difficult for grain stations to collect grain.

It is understood that during the mature harvest of wheat in Fuyang this year, three precipitation processes occurred successively, resulting in a significant increase in the proportion of imperfect grains of wheat, such as brown bark grains, wheat embryo seed coat uplift or rupture, germination and so on. From the south of Fuyang to the north, the disaster situation gradually alleviated due to the different harvest time.

The 800 mu of wheat planted by Ren Xinhu in Yuanzhai Town, Yingdong District, Fuyang City, appeared after harvest. He blew the wheat clean and dried, and sent it to the local grain station for sale. The grain station staff refused to buy the wheat on the grounds that the quality of the wheat was too poor, so Ren Xinhu had to transport the wheat home.

According to the person in charge of the Funan County Grain Bureau, more than 90% of the wheat quality in Funan County this year does not meet the national minimum purchase standards. Official data from Funan county show that a total of 410000 tons of wheat have been harvested in Funan county this year. So far, more than 300,000 tons of wheat are still in the hands of wheat farmers and grain brokers, and 70 per cent of the county's wheat is unsalable. The county is actively contacting food processing companies to acquire, but with little success.

In the face of low-quality wheat, the grain station as a purchasing unit is equally anxious. According to a person from the Yingdong National Grain Reserve Depot in Yingdong Town, Yingdong District, Fuyang City, the warehouse plans to purchase 22000 tons of wheat this year, but at present only 4900 tons have been put into storage, and many farmers have pulled grain all the way to the grain depot but have been returned. By this time in previous years, the purchase of wheat had been completed.

On July 6, Fuyang reported to the people's Government of Anhui Province on the difficulties in purchasing summer grain this year. According to current state regulations, more than 10% of imperfect wheat grains are not allowed to be included in policy acquisitions, so most of the city's wheat cannot enter the national grain depot, the report said. Coupled with the depressed wheat market and falling prices, it is difficult for farmers to sell wheat of poor quality, and it is difficult for the grain sector to purchase wheat that meets the national quality standards. This "dilemma" situation has a great impact on wheat acquisition.

State-owned grain depots will be open to purchase wheat up to the standard after finishing.

The reporter learned that, with the exception of Fuyang, "difficulties in selling grain" have occurred to varying degrees in eastern, western and northern Anhui.

In view of the high proportion of imperfect grains in some areas, the General Office of the Anhui Provincial Government issued an emergency notice in mid-June to sell farmers wheat with imperfect grains exceeding the standard, and to provide screening services on the basis of respecting the wishes of farmers. after finishing and reaching the standard, it will be purchased and stored in time. The Department of Finance of Anhui Province has urgently allocated special funds for the purchase of grain cleaning equipment at grain stations around the country.

In view of the outstanding problems existing in the purchase of summer grain, Fuyang City has introduced specific measures to maximize the mood of the masses and reduce their losses:

We will give full play to the role of state-owned grain enterprises as the main channel, promptly relax the purchase standards for local grain reserves (less than 15% of imperfect grains), and give priority to the purchase of local grain reserves. Free of charge for grain farmers to provide wheat drying, screening services, after finishing to meet the standards of grain open warehouse purchase, to achieve due collection. We should strictly enforce the discipline of grain purchase and resolutely put an end to violations such as "making white slips", "turning grain in circles", and "secondary invoicing".

Actively mobilize social forces to participate in the acquisition. On the one hand, local processing enterprises, feed enterprises, breeding enterprises, and industrial grain units are encouraged to purchase imperfect grain exceeding the standard wheat from farmers at appropriate market prices, and provide them with necessary purchase loan support; on the other hand, extensively contact foreign merchants to broaden wheat sales channels by means of joint purchase, purchasing and storage.

On the whole, affected by such factors as the high wheat yield this year, the higher grain storage of current warehousing and processing enterprises, the greater pressure under the current economic situation, and the fact that the country's lowest purchase price remains unchanged, it is expected that the mentality of purchasing in the new wheat market will be more cautious this year, and the enthusiasm for purchasing will decrease.
