Fruit cracking is a common phenomenon in Guoguang apple varieties in Huaibei region, which reduces the commercial value of fruit. 0.5% CaCl2 solution can be sprayed twice 1-3 weeks before fruit harvest, which has an obvious effect on preventing fruit cracking.
