With the approval of relevant state departments, China Grain Storage Corporation launched the lowest purchase price for early indica rice in 2015 in Anhui, Jiangxi and Hunan provinces from July 28 and in Hubei Province from July 30. According to the provisions of the State's "implementation Plan for the minimum purchase Price of Wheat and Rice in 2015", the minimum purchase price of early indica rice this year is 1.35 yuan per jin (third-class products in the national standard), the price is the same as last year, and the acquisition implementation time is as of September 30.

Early indica rice, commonly known as rice, is a major grain variety in China. In a normal year, the output of early indica rice in China is about 65 billion jin, accounting for about 5% of the country's total grain output and about 15% of the total rice output. It is one of the important food rations in China. At present, the early indica rice has been on the market in 2015, and the market price of early indica rice in some areas is low, which is lower than the lowest purchase price set by the state. In order to avoid "cheap grain hurting farmers", according to national policies and with the approval of relevant state departments, the purchase of early indica rice was launched in Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan and Hubei provinces.

This year, the purchase of early indica rice to support the market is the same as the previous purchase of wheat to support the market, implementing "one main body and four common", that is, the medium stored grain is the main body of the minimum purchase price policy entrusted by the state, and the purchase funds of the supported market are repaid by loans. At the same time, the China Grain Storage Branch, the provincial grain administrative department and the provincial branch of the Agricultural Development Bank jointly determine the entrusted storage points, jointly organize the acceptance, and are jointly responsible for the quantity, quality, inventory management and sales of the purchased grain, and jointly implement the minimum purchase price policy.

The above four provincial grain storage branches, provincial grain administrative departments, and provincial branches of the Agricultural Development Bank, in accordance with the principle of "conducive to the protection of farmers' interests, food security storage, supervision, and sales," 1011 storage sites have been entrusted to the market for early indica rice, and the names, addresses, contact numbers and other information of these storage sites will also be released to the public through the main local news media.
