Strawberry is a perennial herb of the genus strawberry in Rosaceae. The stem is lower than or nearly equal to the leaf, densely yellow pilose, flowers in Cymes, fruit in aggregate fruit, widely cultivated in various parts of our country, rich in nutrition, containing a variety of nutrients and health care effect. With high cultivation value, let's take a look at what kind of fertilizer strawberries use!

Do strawberries need a lot of fertilizer?

Strawberries blossom and bear fruit continuously, and more fertilizer is needed from planting to flowering and fruiting. In addition to applying sufficient basic fertilizer, strawberry fertilizer or diammonium phosphate can be applied to 10 kg per mu during fruit expansion and harvest period. The effect of ditch application in the form of 200 times liquid fertilizer combined with watering is better, and the fields with good growth are only sprayed with 0.1-0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate for 3 times, which also has a certain effect on increasing production, and it is not sprayed in principle during flowering. The principle of fertilization in fruit harvesting field is suitable N weight P and K, and a reasonable proportion relationship must be maintained in order to obtain higher yield and maximum benefit.

What kind of fertilizer is good for strawberries?

1. Nitrogen fertilizer: nitrogen fertilizer can promote the growth of strawberry seedlings. Beans, peanuts and melon seeds that have been moldy and cannot be eaten are good raw materials for nitrogen fertilizer.

2. Phosphate fertilizer: phosphate fertilizer can make strawberries colorful, bright and plump, such as fish bones, eggshells, meat bones and so on.

3. Potash fertilizer: potash fertilizer can improve the resistance of strawberries to diseases and insect pests. Amoy rice water, leftover tea water and milk bottle water are all good raw materials for potash fertilizer.

How to fertilize strawberries?

1. Base fertilizer: before planting strawberries, the soil should be ploughed 25cm deep, and 450 kilograms of commercial organic fertilizer or 3500 kilograms of high-quality farm manure, 5 kilograms of urea, 15 kilograms of diammonium phosphate and 6 kilograms of potassium sulfate should be applied.

2. Topdressing: from the beginning of strawberry growth to before flowering stage, urea 9kg and potassium sulfate 4kg / mu were applied, and 11kg / mu urea and 7kg potassium sulfate were applied during berry expansion period. After a large number of fruits, topdressing can be carried out as needed.

3. Leaf fertilizer: spraying humic acid organic-inorganic liquid compound fertilizer on strawberry leaves before and after flowering can increase fruit setting rate, improve fruit quality and increase single fruit weight. Spraying 0.2% calcium sulfate and 0.05% manganese sulfate at early flowering and full flowering stage can improve yield and fruit storage performance.
