3. Flower soil

Luhehong is a new variety of peony, which does not need to apply thick fertilizer and applies appropriate amount of base fertilizer in winter. After flowering, because flowering consumes a lot of its own nutrition, it can be fertilized once, and there is no need to add extra flower fertilizer in other seasons.

3. Plant management

Before flowering, the buds of Luhehong need to be managed to find the terminal buds of the main branch. if the leaf buds should be removed, the leaf buds will carry out vegetative growth and absorb too many nutrients, which will affect the reproductive growth of flower buds. After flowering, because the branches of Luhehong are too slender and fragile, if the flowers are too big and heavy, they are easy to break in wind and rainy weather, we should pay attention to using sticks and bamboo and other auxiliary materials to support the flowers in time. If you do not need the seeds of Luluhong, remove the seed packets after the flowers wither to avoid taking extra nutrients from the seeds.
