Since July 25, there has been an obvious precipitation process in most parts of Northeast China, especially in parts of the central and southern parts of the country. The average cumulative precipitation is 27 mm in Liaoning (58 mm in Anshan, 28 mm in Jinzhou, 24 mm in Huludao), 24 mm in Heilongjiang (27 mm in Qiqihar, 18 mm in Daqing, 17 mm in Harbin, 15 mm in Heihe), 15 mm in Jilin (29 mm in Tonghua, 21 mm in Changchun, 15 mm in Songyuan, 15 mm in Songyuan), Inner Mongolia 7mm (Wulanchabu, which was seriously affected by drought in the early stage, 18mm) Affected by precipitation, the drought in central and southern Liaoning, southwestern Jilin, central Heilongjiang and central Inner Mongolia has been alleviated, but high temperature and little rain has been maintained in southern Liaoning and northeastern Inner Mongolia, and the drought continues to develop.

Compared with the peak of drought, the area of crops affected by drought in the four provinces (regions) decreased by 24.3 million mu, of which Heilongjiang Province decreased by 10.79 million mu, Liaoning Province by 5.72 million mu, Jilin Province by 4.86 million mu, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region by 2.93 million mu, and the number of people with drinking difficulties remained unchanged.

As of July 29th, the area of arable land affected by drought was 39.67 million mu (an average of 67.74 million mu for the same period of many years), and 1.91 million people and 2.74 million head of large livestock were due to drought and drinking water difficulties (an average of 4.95 million people and 4.03 million head for the same period of many years). Mainly concentrated in Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shanxi and other places.

At present, the northeast arid areas continue to go all out to do a good job in drought relief and disaster reduction in accordance with the requirements of the special meeting of the State General Administration of Prevention and Control, so as to strive for stable and high yield of autumn grain.
