Mr. Feng Rumei, a native of Huzhou, Zhejiang, was born in 1922. His uncle, Mr. Feng Xizhai, was a famous artist in Huzhou Yilan in the early period of the Republic of China. My husband is modest and thinks that he can keep his claws as a souvenir.

Mr. Feng has always had peace of mind, contentment, and peace of mind without asking for anything. Therefore, Erhua was named after "contentment" and "nothing to ask for". After the age of 80, he changed the name of the orchid room to "Nai Anju", Ji Xi Anle.

On a pleasant autumn day, I went straight to Huzhou from Hangzhou to interview the elder Feng Rumei, the elder of Yilan. In today's China, how many people can be compared with those who are still active in the orchid world, regardless of their orchid art or seniority?

Feng Lao is very talkative, which is really amazing step by step, so it becomes three amazing memories.

A surprise: 70 years of orchid cultivation, infatuation will not change. Feng Lao was born in 1922. At the age of 17, he returned to his hometown in Huzhou to recuperate because of lung disease and began to take pleasure in planting flowers. Feng Lao said: when he was young, he was influenced by Mr. Shu Xizhai and Mr. Shaofu, grandfather of Zhou. He loved to dill flowers and grass, play with antiques, and raise insects, fish, birds and animals. After that, I went to Shanghai Yiyuan to call on Mr. Jiang Dongfu, a big collector in Wuxi, and visited the Vanilla House in Xishuiguan Yan Bridge in Wuxi. Appreciate Lan Hui and show all the antiques collection. After looking at it, he was dumbfounded and stunned. Immediately said that today to see this, no longer accept to play with antiques, will only be entertained by Yilan. Since then, Mr. Feng, accompanied by Lanhui, has collected some famous species one after another.

At that time, during the Anti-Japanese War, Jiangsu and Zhejiang orchids were robbed. When the Japanese soldiers came, Zheng Tongmei took refuge in Shanghai for security reasons, and all Lanhui were buried in the country courtyard. Zheng Tongmei died in 1940. In accordance with Mr. Jiang Dongfu's letter, I visited Lanhui left by Zheng Tongmei and searched for the name HuiDaKuisu at any cost. I went with others to Zheng Tongmei's former residence in Shuanglin. After several explorations, it was to no avail. The name of the first generation, Hui Da Kui Su, has been unique ever since. At this point, Mr. Feng looked very sad.

Reform and opening up, happy times, Feng Lao also revived. Feng Lao said: this orchid cultivation, strive for famous species, so the variety is better than the previous planting. In the autumn of 1984, Feng Lao planner established Phoenix Orchid Garden in Huzhou, which became the first professional unit of non-governmental collective investment in orchids in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. In 1995, the Huzhou Orchid Association was established, with Feng Lao Ren as the president. Chen Guanshan, current president of the association, said: Mr. Feng has made great contributions to vigorously promoting orchid activities and revitalizing the orchid industry in Huzhou.

According to the count, Feng Lao dill has been for 70 years. Although it was robbed and interrupted several times, the heart of Ailan was consistent and never stopped for a moment.

This sentence highly summarizes Feng Lao's mentality and idea of raising orchids and fully embodies his consistent thought of keeping orchids and keeping in good health. Feng Lao is 87 years old this year. He is full of breath in his speech and walks at ease, which is a proof. He was weak and had lung disease when he was young, but now he has a long and healthy life, so he has to take part in raising orchids.

Speaking of the relationship between orchid cultivation and health preservation, Feng Lao said: orchid cultivation can cultivate sentiment, this is true. Orchid noble character, narcissistic, can be pleasing to the eye, sentiment can be sublimated. But specifically, nourishing orchids can nourish the heart, aiming at the word "meditation". This is the feeling of Feng Lao Yang Lan's life. A person, only calm, can raise orchids, otherwise can not be raised. Because orchids grow slowly, they often do not blossom for several years and have to be waited on carefully. This is a test of people's patience, is the cultivation of patience, orchids are cultivated, patience is also cultivated. In all previous political movements, Mr. Feng still survived the shock. He felt that raising orchids had given him a sense of patience, that he could make sense when things went wrong, and that he had the capacity to be open-minded.

Feng Lao room raises orchid, the name is to live comfortably, meaning to be quiet and comfortable. No matter how cold the wind and cold rain outside, walking into the orchid room with orchids, it will be quiet and comfortable. Feng Lao said that he likes to name orchids, and when he comes across a good flower, he can't help but choose a good name. When I met Lanyou, I cultivated a good flower and was happy to give it a name. Chunlan, nurtured and named by Feng Lao, is most influential in "contentment,"no desire," and "closing the moon." it has also taken flower names such as "viewing stop" and "Qifeng" for Lanyou, all of which are freehand brushwork of "meditation." Lan Hui, who lives in Nai'an, is also vegetarian. Feng Lao Yin in the city, with vegetarian feelings, select varieties, cultivate orchids, cultivate orchids, calm and tranquil, can be described as the true meaning of orchids.

Raising orchids naturally is to start, watering, moving pots, but moving in the hands in the heart, body and mind, the combination of movement and stillness. Sitting at the desk, accompanied by orchid, eye stroking orchid, body and mind immersed in fragrance, and orchid is a kind of communication and dialogue. Raising orchids in this way, raising orchids and longevity at the same time will undoubtedly lead to longevity.

Three surprises: the art is not ancient, and the mind is always new. Old Feng was born into a large family, reciting poems and ancient prose from an early age, and has a deep foundation in Sinology. Over the past few decades, while raising orchids, Mr. Feng carefully studied the ancient works of orchids, which not only improved the skills of raising orchids, but also deeply influenced the culture of orchids. He said: there are not many books devoted to Lan Hui. there are about 40 kinds of books that have spread from Song, Ming, Qing to modern times, some of which are manuscripts. Feng Lao read all the books carefully, and in the early 1960s, he made a summary of the contents. In addition to his own study and research, he also intended to make Yilan Tonghao hold this volume and know its general plan. The excerpt is divided into shape, evaluation, identification, planting and other aspects, which is more important than Jiangsu and Zhejiang Lanhui and slightly more than Jianlan. Fortunately, I was able to preserve the manuscript and published the orchid Tan of Nai an Ju Yi Lan Tan in 2003. Feng Lao's skill of raising orchids comes from two aspects: the inheritance of ancient books and his own practice. When it comes to raising orchids through science and technology, although Lao Feng adheres to the traditional law of cultivation, he does not reject it and does not criticize it, thinking that this is the trend of the times and the necessity of the future.

Although Lao Feng is old, he can often be seen at local orchid exhibitions. He likes to make orchid friends, often go out to visit Lanyuan, and often have orchid friends to visit him. When it comes to new products and personnel in Lanjie, he is well-informed and quick-thinking. He boasts that he is not confused, he is old, but he is not confused. Speaking of the current orchid market downturn, Feng Lao has his own view: first, the orchid market downturn is back to normal, some varieties may not be low in place, there is still room for health, back to the look of 2003 and 2004. Second, it can promote orchids to plant large pots and have good flowers. Divide too often, a few seedlings a pot, eager for quick success and quick profit, can not produce strong and good flowers. Third, a few hundred yuan per seedling, thousands of pots, everyone can afford to buy, can afford to play, orchids can enter thousands of households. No matter marketization or industrialization, orchids are intended for people to enjoy. Raising orchids and playing with orchids is life, culture and industry.
