Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Apple is one of the major fruits in our lives, and we all know its nutritional value like the back of our hand, and now the output of apples is not low, but many apples do not grow very well, so there are all kinds of unhealthy in the market.

Apple is one of the bulk fruits in our life, its nutritional value we are already well aware of, and now the apple yield is not low, but a lot of apples are not very good, so there will be a variety of unhealthy apples on the market, such as coloring, waxing and so on, in fact, the quality of apples is not good to a large extent and fertilization, the following is to learn how to correctly and efficiently fertilize apple trees.

1. Base fertilizer

The base fertilizer of apple trees is to use organic fertilizer, because organic fertilizer is more conducive to soil absorption, which can greatly improve the quality of soil, thus improving the quality and yield of apples. Organic fertilizer was the best nutrient that apple trees could absorb at the initial stage. Under normal circumstances, one mu would need about 3,000 to 5,000 jin. When applying fertilizer, holes needed to be dug at certain intervals, and then fertilizer would be filled into the holes before planting. In this way, apple trees could absorb fertilizer better, thus speeding up their growth.

2. Growth fertilizer

Growth fertilizer is also called pre-flowering fertilizer, that is, it needs to be fertilized once before flowering. This time, fertilization is mainly to promote the growth of branches and leaves, and then quickly enter flowering stage. Therefore, we mainly use ammonia fertilizer, but the amount of nitrogen fertilizer should not be too much, otherwise it will lead to excessive growth of branches and leaves, thus delaying the fruiting period. In this way, the best expiration date will be missed, resulting in apple yield reduction. Generally, one mu of land requires an average of 500 jin of nitrogen fertilizer. Secondly, you can use 20 catties of phosphorus fertilizer and 20 catties of potassium fertilizer. Of course, you can also use some urea in an appropriate amount. Fertilize by irrigating the roots, so that the roots are easier to absorb.

3. Flower promotion fertilizer

Flower promotion fertilizer is a relatively important stage of apple growth period. Under normal circumstances, alkaline fertilization is applied about a week before flowering of fruit trees. Of course, at the latest, when individual flower buds appear sporadically in fruit trees, one of the functions of flower promotion fertilizer is to promote flowering and prolong flowering, so that fruit setting rate can be improved to a certain extent. At the same time, flower promotion fertilizer also has a more important role in fruit preservation, which can reduce the probability of fruit drop. During this period, we mainly use potassium fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer to spray leaves, which can achieve a good effect of promoting flowers and fruits.

4, strong fruit fertilizer

Fruit strengthening fertilizer basically determines the quality of apples. Generally, it is carried out when apples are the size of eggs. At this time, we mainly use boron fertilizer, some chemicals specially aimed at fruit growth and a small amount of high-efficiency potassium fertilizer to spray fruits. This can promote the growth of apples and shorten the growth cycle. At the same time, it can also ensure the taste of apples and ensure that apples grow round and regular without abnormalities and defects. Secondly, apples grow slowly during this period. At the same time, it is also slowly coloring, so that the apple color can be more uniform, it looks very appetizing, a lot of apples on the market are red and green, very uncoordinated, that is because the strong fruit fertilizer is not applied well.

5. Maintenance fertilizer

In fact, the maintenance fertilizer is equivalent to the base fertilizer of the second year. Generally, it is carried out after all apples are harvested. We mainly use organic decay fertilizer or plant ash for accumulation, or strip application and furrow application. At the same time, we can also use withered grass and the like, but we must wait until it is rotten before we can use it. Plant ash must wait until it is cooled before it can be released. This prevents the apple tree from aging and lays the foundation for high yields in the coming year.
