Jianlan is native to the warm land in the south of China, so the light required is slightly stronger than that of Xia Hui, but its cold resistance is slightly weaker. It should be protected in winter to prevent freezing damage at low temperatures. Jianlan is prone to yellow rust, and special attention should be paid to the control with methyl topiramate in summer and autumn. If a small amount of rust is found, it should be cut off immediately.

Attention should also be paid to the control of snails and slugs during the unearthed and flowering stages of flower buds in Jianlan. Potted orchid, the soil remains moist, but can not be watered more. There must be no stagnant water at the roots. Spray more water on the leaves in summer. Fertilizing once every half month during the growing period, the fertilizer liquid must not defile the leaves. High temperature and strong light in midsummer, set up shading facilities, strictly prevent heavy rain, indoor maintenance in winter to avoid frostbite leaves.

Ramet propagation is commonly used. It can be carried out in both spring and autumn. The dense pseudobulbs are cut and planted with a knife, each with at least 3 tubes. The roots will be properly trimmed and potted. Generally, the ramets are divided once in 2-3 years.

Anthrax, black spot and shell insects are common. The disease was sprayed with 500 times of 10% carbendazim wettable powder, and the insect pests were sprayed with 1 500 times of 40% omethoate EC.
