Noni fruit is a kind of uncommon fruit, it is a kind of fruit of Morinda officinalis, it has very good body-strengthening effect and can enhance human immunity at the same time. Secondly, it can also play the role of detoxification and beauty care, postponement of menopause and prevention of cancer. It is a very good health fruit, mainly produced in Southeast Asia and Hawaii, so how is Noni fruit planted? Let's take a look at it today.

1. Land selection and preparation

We need to select a site before planting Noni fruit, which is a tropical fruit, so the climate for planting is basically tropical or subtropical, followed by seedling land and planting land. Noni fruit seedlings generally take into account the problems of wind, light, water source, soil quality and so on, while the planting land mainly considers the soil fertility, water source, soil quality and so on. Then you need to choose according to the growth habits of Noni fruit, and finally make sure that the soil is fine and flat.

2. Planting method

There are two main methods of planting Noni fruit: seed seedling transplanting and cutting seedling transplanting. It is generally appropriate for seeds to be sowed around April to June each year, and the seeds need to be soaked in warm water before sowing. Fish out in a day or so, wrap the seeds with gauze, add an appropriate amount of fine river sand to the middle, soak them in warm water for a day after scrubbing, and finally sterilize them with Bordeaux solution, which can improve the germination rate of seeds and enhance the resistance of seeds. Cutting seedlings are generally carried out around March and April every year, and the selected Noni branches are cut, put into Bordeaux solution for disinfection, and then inserted into the soil to raise seedlings.

3. Reasonable close planting

Transplanting is usually carried out from June to July every year, and the planting density is usually planted according to the distance of one meter between each row and about 60 centimeters between each plant, so as to ensure the normal growth of Noni fruit. At the same time, it is best to choose rainy or cloudy days when planting, which can improve the survival rate of Noni fruit.

4. Fertilizer and water management

The growth rate of Noni fruit in its seedling stage is very slow, so how do we apply fertilizer and what fertilizer will be better? In the seedling stage, urea is generally used to promote the growth of branches and leaves, or ternary compound fertilizer can also be used. When the Noni fruit blossoms and bears fruit, it is mainly phosphate fertilizer, using as little nitrogen fertilizer as possible, and after the Noni fruit is harvested, it needs to be maintained by applying some ternary compound fertilizer to make it safely through the winter and ensure the yield in the coming year. At the same time, each fertilization can be combined with ploughing, weeding and watering, so that nutrients can be fully absorbed, thus promoting the growth of roots, branches and leaves and fruit of Noni fruit.

5. Pruning branches and leaves

Finally, we should pay attention to the pruning of branches and leaves and thinning flowers and fruits of Noni fruit trees. Noni fruits generally bloom more, so we should sparse some weak flowers and diseased flowers appropriately. At the same time, we need to prune the branches and leaves once or twice a year, which can enhance the tree potential and increase the yield at the same time.
