The latest planting method of sour jujube
Sour jujube is mainly produced in North China, we have all heard of red jujube, green jujube, winter jujube and so on, but we do not know much about sour jujube. Sour jujube was originally a wild plant, but it was later discovered and artificially cultivated. Wild Jujube Juice is also a very delicious fruit juice, but not everyone's favorite, but the economic value of sour jujube is very high, so how to grow sour jujube? Let's take a look at its planting method.
1. Land selection and preparation
The planting land of sour jujube is generally selected in sunny hillsides, plains, hills and other places, even by the roadside, the humidity of the planting land can not be too large, it is generally dry, and the drainage is good. Suddenly strong and relatively fertile loam can be planted. The stickiness of the soil should not be too heavy, at the same time, the permeability of the soil should be good, and it should not pass the sand, otherwise it will reduce the permeability of the soil. Soil preparation needs to be divided into seedling land and planting land, the soil quality of seedling land should be fine and flat, and the soil quality of planting land does not need to be too fine, and it can be carried out by hole reclamation, but all need to be sprinkled with sufficient base fertilizer.
2. Scientific sowing
The seeds need to be germinated before sowing, and the germination rate must reach about 85% before sowing. At the same time, the seed needs to be mixed with chemicals. The sowing time is usually around April every year. At this time, the sowing density is about 50 cm between rows and 30 cm between plants. Hole sowing or strip sowing can be carried out.
3. Seedling stage management
About a week after sowing, basically seedlings will emerge according to the normal situation, so we should check the situation of seedling emergence in the field, and release seedlings in time to ensure that sour jujube seedlings can emerge safely, and water the right amount according to the specific situation, and pull out the weeds in the field at the same time. When the seedlings grow to about five centimeters, you can carry out inter-seedlings, leaving only one plant in each hole.
4. Transplanting and planting
The seedlings can be transplanted at this time. We usually transplant the seedlings into the field, and then wait until the seedlings grow to about 10 cm for formal comprehensive transplanting, usually according to the row spacing of four to five meters. The plant spacing is about two to three meters in density, and watering should be carried out after planting to ensure the normal growth and development of its roots.
5. Field management
When the sour jujube seedling grows to 30 centimeters high, we should remove its terminal bud, which can promote the growth of its side branches and increase the yield of sour jujube. Secondly, we also need to prune and reshape the branches and leaves of the wild jujube tree from time to time, generally to make his crown more fluffy, at the same time, the permeability between the branches is also better. Young sour jujube trees need to be fertilized many times a year in order to promote the growth of sour jujube trees, while adult sour jujube trees only need topdressing three times a year, namely, branch and leaf growth period, flower and fruit period and after fruit harvest. Specific fertilizer use can be consulted. At the same time, we should pay attention to the reasonable thinning of flowers and fruits in its flowering and fruit period, which can improve the fruit setting rate and reduce the fruit drop rate.
6. Pest control
The most common diseases of wild jujube are rust, scorched leaf disease, fruit shrinkage disease, rust can be controlled by Bordeaux liquid, scorched leaf disease can be controlled by Ye Kujing, and fruit shrinkage disease can be controlled by fungicides. Secondly, it also has many pests, such as jujube armyworm, mite, yellow moth, heart-eating insect and borer and so on. We should do a good job in inter-garden management, make rational use of the nature of pests, or scientifically use pesticides for poisoning.
