To master the knowledge should be concise, now the identification of Chunlan petal type is briefly described as follows:

There are three characteristics of lotus valve:

First, the outer three petals are broad and thick, similar to the petals of the lotus. "eight minutes long is four parts wide", that is, the length and width generally do not exceed 2:1. If the petals are elongated and out of proportion after blooming for 2 to 3 days, it can hardly be called a "lotus petal", but can only be said to be a "lotus shape".

Second, the holding valve is short and round, and there is no "white peak". The clam shell holding and short round holding are the best, followed by scissors holding, and the holding petal is narrow and long or valgus is difficult to be called "lotus petal".

Third, the lip must be round, plump, stretched, and sometimes slightly curled. It is better to have a big round tongue and big bangs.

Three characteristics of plum petal:

First, the outer three petals are short and round, and some petals have a tip, slightly inward in the shape of a spoon, similar to the petals of plum blossoms. Require tight edges, ends, and flat shoulders. If the outer three "long foot round head", as long as the holding flap and lip flap meet the requirements of the plum valve can also be called the plum valve, but the "short circle" is the best.

Second, hold the valve short round from the pocket, the valve end has a "white head", tight edge, so that the flap has a sense of thickening, it is better to hold the heart of the silkworm moth, there are hard pockets and soft pockets, not plum petals.

Third, the lip is short and round, straight and not curled back, with bangs and wishful tongue as the best.

Three features of Narcissus petal:

First, the outer three petals are generally longer and narrower than the plum petals, with "long feet" in the majority, with the tip of the petals slightly pointed, and the roots are put at an angle.

Second, hold the flap from the pocket or light pocket, with Guanyin holding and pu fan holding as the best. Those with "white heads" in their pockets are called "skillful species", and those with shallow pockets or those without "white heads" are called "officials".

Third, the lip flap is drooping or slightly curled, which is slightly larger than that of the plum flap, mostly with a large round tongue.

Daffodils can be divided into plum-shaped daffodils and lotus-shaped daffodils.

The plum-shaped daffodils are represented by the western god plum. The plum-shaped daffodil has a round head, similar to the plum petal, the main valve is tight, the holding flap has a light pocket, and the lip flap is a big bangs or round tongue.

Lotus-shaped daffodils are represented by the word dragon. The outer three petals of the lotus daffodil are wider, similar to the lotus valve, with a light pocket, and the lip is sagging and stretching, sometimes slightly curled.

Vegetarian features:

Vegetarian heart is compared with color heart, those who have no ink on the tongue are vegetarian heart.

Odd species characteristics:

Where there is a variation different from the common six-valve shape, or an increase in the number of valves, resulting in butterfly phenomenon, collectively referred to as "odd species". Odd species can be divided into multi-petal type, butterfly type, multi-petal butterfly type.

1. Multi-valve type: the variation of the increase in the number of valves occurred in the outer three valves or the inner three valves.

Second, butterfly type: the lip flap of the side lobe or holding flap changes from green to white, and there are gorgeous red patches, which can be divided into inner butterfly and outer butterfly.

Inner butterfly: labial petal variation occurs in inner petals.

Outer butterfly: labial flap variation occurs in the outer wheel side lobe.

Third, multi-petal butterfly type: there is both multi-petal and butterfly variation.

For the above identification of Chunlan petal, please discuss and correct it.
