Qin Shuo said that urbanization is a natural development process, not all places can always be in the peak period of urbanization, and not all places are suitable for prosperity. In many places, the natural ecological environment is not so carrying capacity, so urbanization may not be appropriate.

Mr. Qin Shuo, founder of China Business Daily, said in Nanjing a few days ago that in order to develop a new type of urbanization in China, attention should be paid to dealing with the relationship in five aspects.

Qin Shuo made the above remarks at the third Yangtze River Delta Urban Development Forum held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The current Yangtze River Delta Urban Development Forum, with the theme of "small cities and Big Future", is jointly organized by Zhejiang Yangtze River Delta Urban Development data Research Institute, Fudan University School of Management and China Business Daily to discuss the general trend of urban development in the Yangtze River Delta. explore the opportunities, models, methods and paths for all parties to participate in urbanization construction under the background of the New deal, so as to promote the development of a new type of urbanization in the Yangtze River Delta.

Qin Shuo said that urbanization is a natural development process, not all places can always be in the peak period of urbanization, and not all places are suitable for prosperity. Because the natural ecological environment in many places is not so carrying capacity, it may not be appropriate to carry out urbanization.

He said that under the two-wheel drive of China's urbanization and industrialization, the whole Chinese town has grown about 10 times in the past two or three decades. The number increased from 2713 in the 1980s to 20113 in 2013.

Qin Shuo said: now that China's urbanization has entered a critical period of development, China's new urbanization, healthy urbanization and civilized urbanization all have to deal with several aspects.

The first is the relationship between the outside and the inside, which refers not only to the face on the surface of the city, but also to the internal structural mechanism of the city, but also the relationship between the local population and the foreign population. If this relationship can be handled well, our urbanization can make a great leap in quality. For example, in Dongguan, a very important issue is the coordination of the fundamental population of other places. The local population thinks that we are the builders here, while the non-local population thinks that I am just a tenant here, so this relationship is very incongruous.

In addition, we should properly handle the relationship between things and people, and we should also consider social indicators related to people, such as education, health, culture, medicine, employment, social security, etc., when we talk about urbanization. If people cannot be connected with each other, their social existence will be greatly weakened.

Then there is the relationship between construction and education, that is, the relationship between construction and cultivation. Qin Shuo said that urbanization in the West, as well as small towns in many places, have not changed for many years, and people will laugh at their slow development. In fact, I always feel very comfortable there. Like the cultivation of aristocrats, this is a very long-term, including culture, heritage, social feelings in it, if a town only wants to build, does not want to cultivate, that is not a good mentality.

There is also the question of the past and the present. Today, there are fewer and fewer towns in China, fewer and fewer rural features, and fewer and fewer ceremonial traditional festivals and gatherings. Urbanization has lost the context and the culture left behind, which may make us lose our precious wealth.

Finally, there is the relationship between similarities and differences. Many places have become one side of a thousand cities, one side of a thousand towns, in fact, each town has to find its own characteristics, must have identification, which requires a lot of mode innovation.
