Nectarine is an excellent variety of peach, in order to improve its yield and quality, many fruit growers mostly adopt greenhouse cultivation, but there is a slight difference between greenhouse and open field cultivation. So how to manage nectarines in greenhouse? Come and have a look with the editor.

1. Choose a site to build a shed

Nectarine greenhouse should be selected in the leeward to the sun, dry terrain, convenient drainage and irrigation, fertile and loose soil is appropriate, can choose to build in the peach forest, can also be built after transplanting, according to the actual situation. Bamboo and wood structure is selected for the shed, empty water cement brick is used for the back wall, the height, length and width of the shed are determined according to the actual situation, the shed film is made of polyethylene without dripping film, and the rear wall should do a good job of ventilation holes, generally leaving a diameter of about 30 cm every 10 meters. The roof center should also do a good job of skylights.

2. Seedling transplanting

If there is no need for transplanting in the peach forest, only strong fertilizer and water management is needed. Before transplanting, the soil should be turned deeply in the new shed. 4000-5000 kg of organic fertilizer, 20 kg of compound fertilizer and 10 kg of potassium sulfate should be applied as base fertilizer in each shed. The seedlings with developed root system, strong growth and full bud should be selected, the row spacing should be controlled at 1.5m × 4m, the ratio of main varieties to pollinated varieties should be about 10 ∶ 1, the root system should be extended, watered once after planting, and covered with plastic film to keep warm and moist.

3. Shaping and pruning

The shaping and pruning of nectarine in greenhouse is generally high in the north and low in the south. If the tree shape is spindle-shaped, the height of the control plant is about 1.5 meters, and if the tree shape is happy, the height of the control plant is 1 meter. The pruning before buckling shed is mainly thinning branches, leaving long branches, thinning disease and insect branches, drooping branches, growing branches and non-flowering branches, while strengthening vegetative branches to maintain the permeability between plants.

4. Fertilizer and water management

One month before withholding the shed, 3000 kg of organic fertilizer, 25 kg of diammonium phosphate and 10 kg of urea should be applied to each shed, and water should be poured once, and the soil should be broken by shallow hoe and covered with plastic film. The low concentration urea solution was sprayed once in the young fruit stage, and the potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution was sprayed in addition to the urea solution in the core stage. The humidity in the shed should not be controlled below 60%, and the fruit period should be watered twice, once in the hard core period and once in the fruit expansion period, but pay attention to the amount of water that should not be too much, so as to avoid the vigorous growth of new shoots, causing physiological fruit drop and affecting the yield.
