兰花的养殖方法和注意事项

To talk about how to cultivate orchids, I am afraid we have to talk about the environment of raising orchids, but some orchid friends ignore this premise, saying how my plant materials are proportioned, how to water them, and so on, without mentioning their own orchid environment, which is actually very easy to mislead people. other people's environment is very different from yours. If you do it your way, the result will certainly be very different. Coupled with the poor discrimination ability of many orchid friends, they will only say: top! Nice post! I've studied! Take it all according to the order, whether it is raw or cooked, just swallow it. It can be seen that only talking about plant materials, not talking about the environment, its negative impact is very great.

I roughly divide the orchid environment into two categories: one is orchid cultivation on the ground, and the other is orchid cultivation in the air (balcony, roof). The biggest difference between the ground and the air is that orchid cultivation on the ground is approachable, while orchid cultivation in the air can not get the earth atmosphere. The so-called earth atmosphere, I think is a kind of wet, cool, flowing air. The earth has the function of breathing, transporting water, nutrients and air in the soil. If you don't believe it, just observe how the street trees live in downtown areas. the street trees grow on a square of one meter of land, surrounded by cement floor. not only that, the one-meter-square land is trampled like an iron plate, and the tree is still full of branches and leaves and full of vitality. What is it if it is not the work of the earth? Compared with orchid cultivation in the air, orchid cultivation on the ground is closer to the natural growth state, the orchid is breathable and the breathable problem is solved, more than half of the problem of orchid cultivation is solved. This is the advantage of orchid cultivation on the ground.

Since the ground orchid (potted plant) has such favorable conditions, then the plant material can be less fastidious, as long as the environment is cool, ventilated and does not have much direct sunlight, vegetable garden soil can be used. For those with a poor environment, such as those with poor ventilation, use vegetable garden soil to mix a little granular material on the line. This is what I have experienced. I used to live in a bungalow. I did it like this, and there was nothing wrong with it. Orchid this thing, after tens of thousands of years of training, can reproduce up to now, this point of adaptability is still there. Therefore, it is no mystery that some people can raise orchids with vegetable garden soil.

However, the use of vegetable garden soil also has to follow a principle, that is, the bottom of the basin should also be covered with some coarse-grained material, with vegetable garden soil on top. You can't have a thick and thin one, with coarse particles on top and vegetable garden soil on the bottom. This obviously has drawbacks and blocks the earth. And easy to form a dry and wet condition, easy to cause rotten roots, sick, this is one of the taboos of orchid, what are the benefits of orchid grass?

Raising orchids in the air is very different. If there is no earth atmosphere, you have to solve the problem of air permeability by yourself. in fact, the main thing is to solve the problem of air permeability at the root. What should we do? Can only be achieved with granular materials, the upper part of the root is close to the basin, easy to get gas, so use fine particles, while the lower part of the root is stuffed in the basin, it is not easy to get gas, then use coarse particles. This kind of configuration has many advantages, at least three points can be mentioned:

First, the problem of air permeability has been solved.

Second, without stagnant water, it can also reduce water evaporation, so that the basin can maintain a humid environment for a long time, and because of this upper fine and lower coarse structure, the humidity of the upper part and the lower part are roughly the same. it can be avoided that the upper part has been dry, while the lower part is still very wet.

Third, diseases can be reduced. I have an experience that if a pot of orchid has black spots or stem rot, there must be something wrong with that pot of plant material, which is too fine, or does not follow the principle of being fine at the top and thick at the bottom, resulting in excessive wetness and poor air permeability. in short, the contradiction among root, water and gas has not been solved. If you follow the principle of thinning up and thickening down, there will be no black spots and stem rot.

If this is done, there is still such a disease, that is, the plant material is too fine, switch to a thicker one, you can fundamentally put an end to black spots and stem rot, usually too much water is not afraid! What do you think? is this a unique trick?

Of course, there will be other problems when there is too much water and fertilizer, but this is not the content of this article.

Vegetable garden soil can never be used, even if the vegetable garden soil is added with coarse granular material. Orchid friends should keep in mind that the most taboo thing about raising orchids in the air is the extremely fine powder mixed in the particulate material. Such as fine soil, vegetable garden soil undoubtedly contains a lot of this fine powder, the harm of this fine powder is obvious: blocking the air passage, the result is not using granular material. If someone wants to say: I use vegetable garden soil to add grain material is very good. Well, I can conclude that your bluegrass grows slowly, grows smaller and smaller year by year, the disease is not easy to control, and you have to be more careful in watering and fertilizing. Otherwise, it is a special case that I will mention below, that is, you have a rooftop garden with high shade.

However, pure granules still have defects, that is, because of the large gap between particles, Langen has a small area of contact with it, and the ability to absorb nutrients is weakened. This problem is easy to solve, just apply thin fertilizer frequently, as long as you master the words "thin" and "diligent", you can ensure that you will not have big worries.

There is a special environment in which orchids can be raised without pure granular materials, that is, some people make a garden on the roof with big trees and vines with great shade, and there is a lot of soil to plant other flowers and trees. man-made to create a humid and ventilated environment similar to the ground, orchid grass placed in the shade of vine trees or dark corners, can also get some similar approachable effects Bluegrass can grow well without pure granules.

Finally, I have to make it clear that my family lives in the south, and all the above are my experience in raising orchids locally, which may not be suitable for other areas, especially in the north.
