The variety of fruit trees is still very rich in our country, and there are all kinds of fruits all over the country. Fruit tree planting is a very important planting industry in China, no matter what fruit it is when planting fruit trees. We all need to do a good job in soil, fertilizer and water management, but many people often have some misunderstandings in the management of planting. What exactly do you have? The editor below brings you four misunderstandings in the management of fruit tree soil, fertilizer and water. Let's have a look!

1. Application time of nitrogen fertilizer

When applying fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer must be an indispensable fertilizer. When applying nitrogen fertilizer, it is generally divided into nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen. No matter what form of nitrogen is entered into the fruit tree, it will be transformed into nitrate nitrogen, and then into various nutrients such as amino acids, which will accumulate in the tree. This period of time is usually relatively long, so we should pay attention to the application time of nitrogen fertilizer, which should not be applied in spring, and it does not have much effect on flower, fruit and flower bud differentiation in that year. It is best to apply in autumn before the fallen leaves of fruit trees, which is the peak period for fruit trees to need fertilizer, and it is also a key stage to supplement fruit nutrition.

2. Fertilization depth

When applying fertilizer, many fruit growers think that fertilizer should be applied deeply in order to prevent fertilizer loss. In fact, this idea is not true. When we apply fertilizer, some water-soluble elements such as calcium and potassium in fertilizer can seep into the soil with watering. Each watering will deepen the penetration depth, if it is the traditional fertilization method, then its depth should be maintained at about 45 cm, while according to the traditional fertilization method, it will continue to water after fertilization, which will lead to serious fertilizer leakage and reduce the utilization rate. Therefore, whether we are base fertilizer or topdressing, we should pay attention to the shallow root system, and the fertilization depth should be kept at about 15 cm.

3. Depth of ploughing

In the middle ploughing, there are also many people who have such a misunderstanding that the middle ploughing depth should be appropriate, so as to enhance the ability of soil moisture conservation. Before ploughing, we should first understand the different functions of deep shallow roots of fruit trees. The deep root system is generally fixed to ensure the growth of fruit trees. The shallow root system directly affects the flower bud differentiation and fruit quality of fruit trees. Therefore, in order to ensure the normal flower bud differentiation and improve the fruit quality, we should pay attention to the protection of the shallow root system of about 15 cm. Therefore, when ploughing, it is only necessary to break the soil skin and destroy the soil capillaries.

4. Watering method

When we are watering, there are a lot of misunderstandings. Among them, especially the watering method, many people's watering method is based on flood irrigation. In fact, whether it is a large water demand or relatively small fruit trees, it is not suitable for flooding when watering. If flooded, the roots of fruit trees distributed in the shallow soil will die from lack of oxygen, and the soil will harden as a result. Therefore, when we are watering, drip irrigation or seepage irrigation is generally used, which is not only beneficial to the growth and development of fruit trees, but also reduce water and labor costs.

The above is a brief introduction of the four common misunderstandings in soil, fertilizer and water management. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can be helpful to everyone.
