According to the Ministry of Agriculture monitoring, August 17,"national agricultural wholesale price index" for 213.80, 0.54 points higher than last Friday, of which,"vegetable basket" wholesale price index for 216.93, 0.63 points higher than last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 24.67 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index was 184.73), up 0.5% from last Friday.

Beef 53.83 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday;

Mutton 47.88 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from last Friday;

Egg 8.43 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from last Friday;

White striped chicken 14.74 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Friday.

The average price of 28 kinds of vegetables under key monitoring was 3.90 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index was 247.94), down 0.5% from last Friday.

The average price of seven kinds of fruits under key monitoring was 5.27 yuan/kg, down 2.0% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 15.17 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Friday.

Carp 13.34 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from last Friday;

Silver carp 7.31 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from last Friday;

Big hairtail 28.73 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties monitored in the wholesale market of fresh agricultural products in China, the top five price increases compared with last Friday were watermelon, beans, lettuce, tomatoes and squash, with ranges of 4.5%, 3.8%, 3.4%, 2.8% and 2.2% respectively; the top five price drops were Jufeng grape, pineapple, cauliflower, cucumber and mushroom, with ranges of 4.9%, 3.3%, 3.2%, 2.5% and 2.4% respectively.
