When using rice harvesters to carry out operations, it is inevitable to encounter some problems. Due to the thick rice husk, the wear on the harvester is also very strong. So, what are the common failures of rice harvesters? How to solve this problem?

1. The ears are not clean.

Reasons: more green heads; threshing parts of the grain stalk and concave plate between the threshing gap is too large, low speed.

Elimination methods: control the width of the field block, control within 2/3; adjust the threshing clearance of the threshing machine, reduce the rotation speed of the drum, increase the gap of the concave plate, and replace the seriously worn parts in time; tension the wheel belt of the power machine linkage threshing parts.

2. Auto-feeding difficulties.

Cause: feed chain and telescopic tooth tip distance does not match; crop lodging or moisture.

Elimination method: under the premise that the elastic teeth do not touch the cutting knife, the reel should be moved backward as much as possible; repair the feeding screw blade of the header, so that the height of the blade from the bottom plate is not more than 10 mm; the distance between the feeding chain and the telescopic tooth tip should be kept between 10 and 15 cm; the spring length of the feeding screw safety clutch of the header should be appropriate, and it can be separated in time when the feeding resistance is too large.

3. The reel knocks down much grain.

Cause: the speed of the reel is too high, the position of the reel is too high to hit the head of the ear, or the position of the reel is too close to the front, increasing the number of hits of the ear.

Elimination method: appropriately reduce the reel speed or height, appropriately move the reel.

4. The cutting edge is blocked.

Cause: Too many weeds in the field, too low stubble.

Elimination method: properly improve the stubble can be eliminated; embedded stones, steel wires and other hard objects caused, should stop and put out the engine, remove the object; the moving blade and fixed blade front gap adjusted to 1~1.5 mm, found bolts and tool bar deformation timely alignment or replacement.

5. Conveyor chute blocked.

Cause: conveyor belt tension is not enough or partial run phenomenon; conveyor groove debris more; grain stems wet.

Elimination method: clean up the blockage, tension the conveyor belt; when it is confirmed that the belt is worn and the transmission power is not enough, it should be replaced in time.

6. Threshing cylinder jammed.

Cause: loose belt or uneven feeding; wet crop stems.

Elimination method: tension conveyor belt, control header feed; select mature dry crops to harvest or improve stubble; at the beginning of operation, it is forbidden to control the speed by slamming the throttle.
