Central shaft sprinkler, also known as pointer or circular sprinkler, is suitable for agricultural irrigation in large areas such as farms. It is very important to carry out good preventive maintenance and maintenance of the equipment before or during the irrigation season, so how to maintain the central supporting shaft sprinkler?

Pre-season maintenance

1. Central axis part

There are two lubricating oil nozzles at the head of the central shaft, which requires filling oil for a year or every 1000 hours of use, using multi-functional oil.

two。 Movable wheel gear

In a movable system, there is a fuel nozzle at the gearbox, where you need to add oil for every three times of movement, and if the system does not work, add oil once a year, which prevents water from entering the bearing.

3. Oil

At the end of the first season, change the oil in the wheel gearbox and gear motor. Check the oil every three times after moving, or if you don't have to check it every year. Then at the beginning of the next irrigation season, the oil lines in the gearbox must be checked.

For the center point, fill it with SAE140 oil until its height reaches the screw (3.5L) the type of VXP central gearbox that needs oil: SAE50 (1.75L each)

Post-season maintenance

(1) drain the central axis of the water in the straddle and pipe: turn off the valve under the pressure gauge to drain the water. Open the ball valve at the joint of each span, including between the central shaft and the first span and between the remaining spans, to drain the water in the pipe. After completing these operations, return the ball valve to the middle position (the middle of opening and closing to prevent damage caused by icing) and clean the sand ring if a gun is installed to stop or automatically stop the valve shaft, drain the water in the middle of the electric valve filter housing, disconnect all control hoses and drain the water then connect them to prevent the entry of dirt or insects. Drain the hydraulic valve and spray gun to prevent icing damage.

(2) Oil the shaft elbow to protect all the screws

(3) drain the oil from the wheel gearbox and central drive every 1200 hours or 2 years to drain the water from these gearboxes frequently (every 2 months), otherwise the water will increase in concentration and infiltrate: slowly loosen the drain plug, drain the water when there is oil and plug it tightly; then check the height of the oil line to make sure that the oil must be covered with the gearbox screws and the central drive is filled to the height of the oil plug. The height of the oil must be checked when each part is installed on the tower.

(4) check that the wheel nut is tight and protected by oil, and inflate the tire to a pressure of 2.5 bar to prevent the tire from cracking in winter.

(5) check the cross-column connecting rods and round clips and oil them well.

(6) Circuit control board and tower control box: keep the insulation switch in the open position, check the connection of the line, prevent the influence of water spray on the circuit components, lock the door, check the cable seal tube, check the tower control box shell.

(7) check the performance of the switch (automatic reverse, safety switch, etc.) and protect its gasket
