According to the study, the fruiting tree needs to absorb 0.7 kg of nitrogen, 0.3 kg of phosphorus, 1.0 kg of potassium, 0.9 kg of chlorine, 0.3 kg of calcium and 0.1 kg of magnesium per year. It can be seen that coconut trees have the greatest demand for potassium, followed by chlorine, which is a characteristic of coconut nutrition. The requirement of chlorine in fruit growth and vegetative growth is similar. Chlorine and nitrogen were the highest nutrients absorbed by vegetative growth, followed by calcium and potassium. In the whole growing period, the uptake of phosphorus is the smallest.

Coconut fertilization is divided into nursery fertilization, young tree fertilization and adult tree fertilization. Adequate base fertilizer should be applied in the nursery, 1.3 tons of organic fertilizer should be applied every 667 square meters, and 130 kg of mixed fertilizer of potassium chloride, calcium superphosphate and magnesium sulfate should be applied.

Topdressing was applied once at the age of 2 months, and the dosage was 25 grams of ammonium sulfate, 25 grams of potassium chloride and 20 grams of sodium chloride per plant.

At the age of 5 months, the dosage of each plant was 20 grams of ammonium sulfate, 25 grams of potassium chloride and 40 grams of sodium chloride. Fertilization for young trees varies with age, and ammonium sulfate is generally used as base fertilizer for planting, 150 grams per plant and 200 grams of potassium chloride.

At the age of 6 months, 200 grams of ammonium sulfate and 250 grams of potassium chloride were applied. To one-year-old trees, 500 grams of ammonium sulfate and 500 grams of potassium chloride were applied. After that, the dosage will be increased every year, and 250 grams of superphosphate will be applied.

Over 5 years old, ammonium sulfate, potassium chloride and calcium superphosphate increased to 1500g, 1000 g and 500g respectively. To adult trees, each tree uses 45% compound fertilizer 2.0-2.5 kg per year, the upper limit of soil with low fertility and the lower limit of better fertility.
