According to the Ministry of Agriculture monitoring, August 20, the "national wholesale price index of agricultural products" for 214.36, up 0.23 points from yesterday, of which,"vegetable basket" wholesale price index for 217.72, up 0.36 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 24.45 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index was 184.70), down 0.7% from yesterday.

Beef 53.80 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 48.05 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday;

Egg 8.68 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday;

White striped chicken 14.92 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of 28 kinds of vegetables under key monitoring was 3.90 yuan/kg (the wholesale price index of vegetables was 247.18), up 1.0% from yesterday.

The average price of 7 kinds of fruits under key monitoring was 5.30 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.77 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from yesterday.

Carp 13.01 yuan/kg, down 2.4% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.10 yuan/kg, down 1.8% from yesterday;

Big hairtail 28.43 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties monitored in the wholesale market of fresh agricultural products in China, the top five price increases compared with yesterday are spinach, mushroom, tomato, beans and zucchini, with ranges of 4.5%, 3.4%, 3.0%, 2.9% and 2.8% respectively; the top five price decreases are pear, Kyoho grape, carp, silver carp and crucian carp, with ranges of 3.6%, 2.5%, 2.4%, 1.8% and 1.7% respectively.
