But Cheng Mei of Lao Shen is growing very fast this year.

This reminds me of what a master said a few years ago: when the temperature reaches more than 33 degrees, Cheng Mei grows no slower than other Huilan.

To illustrate the point, a new term is introduced here, which is called start-up temperature.

Generally speaking, the buds of spring orchids are unearthed in March and April, and the first generation of buds that are well managed become seedlings before July. But the green clouds are usually unearthed in July. Why?

It shows that compared with other spring orchids, green cloud prefers high temperature, so the start-up temperature is high.

The temperature is high enough this year, a lot of spring orchids are not long, but my green clouds hula, the new green is particularly obvious.

Two pots of second-generation buds are half-big, which makes me a little skeptical about life.

In general, Cheng Mei is no longer than other varieties of Cymbidium in summer.

But this year is different, the temperature soon reached Cheng Mei's start-up temperature, so Cheng Mei hula, grow very fast.

Cheng Mei and Lvyun react more obviously to temperature.

Although other orchids are not so obvious, I think there are subtle differences.

It was extremely hot this year. I took a look at the orchids on the balcony and listed the phenomena as follows:

1. Lotus petal

I only have a lotus petal, the crown of the lotus sent by a friend.

When I gave it to me, the seedling was green.

The new seedlings in spring are also growing happily.

But not long ago, when the heat was high, the old leaf could not hold up.

There are a lot of spots, which are more obvious than the most serious freckles.

Therefore, I feel that the lotus petal is particularly afraid of high temperature.

In the extremely high temperature, there are several pots of spring orchids with spots, but the performance is not particularly serious.

One of the varieties with serious performance is Yileding, which belongs to Chunlan made in Sichuan.

First, the third generation of grass from the leaf tip down yellow, yellow to half of the yellow mother grass. But the new grass is growing well.

I think the environment of Sichuan is quite different from that of Shanghai, so Sichuan Chunlan lies down first under the high temperature.

At the beginning, I talked about the green clouds. My more than fifty pots of green clouds showed discomfort in only one basin under high temperature.

Do not adapt to this pot is a typical greenhouse empty grass, divided into three generations of grass, leaves from the tip down the withered.

The leaves of more than 20 centimeters withered in a week.

Fortunately, the buds are still growing.

3. Cymbidium

I think Huilan is the orchid species with the best weather resistance.

In addition to the coke tip at high temperature, there are basically no symptoms of maladjustment.

4. Four seasons

The grass that blossoms in the four seasons is not many in the family, but it is still growing.

5. Cold orchid

Hearing the name Han Lan, I thought I liked cold and feared heat.

But I guess I was deceived by her name.

Cold orchid is afraid of cold in winter, below zero will make the leaves of some varieties black.

But in this high temperature, Han Lan did not cry and cry!
