How to grow Fijian fruit?
The key to Fiji fruit cultivation lies in its requirements for planting environment, especially planting temperature. Fiji fruit contains a lot of vitamin C, not only as fruit consumption, usually can also be made into milkshakes, ice cream, juice drinks, jams, etc., can also be injected into vodka to become fruity wine.
1. suitable environment
Fiji fruit trees like sun, so warm. The lowest temperature in winter is above-9 ℃. It grows well in greenhouses at 5-10 degrees. The soil requirements are not very high, suitable for fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Therefore, Fiji fruit cultivation should be carried out in spring when the temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. For example, layering from early March to April can be started in early April.
2. planting technology
Fiji fruit has new shoots sprouting all the year round, the fruiting branches are spring shoots, the fruiting mother branches are mainly autumn shoots sprouting in the first year, and the fruiting branches are sprouted from 3 - 5 buds at the top of autumn shoots in the previous year.
For fruit trees, scientific fertilization is the key. The best time to apply base fertilizer is after harvest in autumn and before germination in spring. The fertilizer effect is slow, and it has little effect on flowering and fruit setting in spring, but it will lead to excessive growth of trees in late stage, affecting flower bud differentiation and fruit development.
It is suggested to apply less base fertilizer as much as possible, spray more foliar fertilizer and new lipid membrane, and combine spring irrigation with chemical fertilizer, mainly nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer, combined with appropriate potassium fertilizer. In order to promote flowering and fruit setting, the bearing trees should be applied nitrogen fertilizer once from early March to early April, or sprayed foliar fertilizer plus new lipid membrane, sprayed fruit strengthening spirit once before flowering, young fruit stage and fruit expansion stage respectively to thicken fruit stems and improve nutrient delivery. Prevent flower drop, fruit drop, fruit crack, stiff fruit, abnormal fruit, make fruit coloring beautiful, fruit shape beauty, taste good.
