Last Updated: 2024/11/22, Seedling lodging disease is most likely to occur soon after the seedlings are unearthed. At first, the base of the young stem of the seedlings was watery light brown, and then it became thin and linear, and the seedlings quickly fell to the ground. At the beginning, only a few seedlings developed the disease, and then it was used as the disease center to spread rapidly around, causing patches.

Seedling lodging disease is most likely to occur soon after the seedlings are unearthed. At first, the base of the young stem of the seedlings was watery light brown, and then it became thin and linear, and the seedlings quickly fell to the ground. At the beginning, only a few seedlings fell ill, and then took this as the disease center to rapidly expand around, causing slices to seedlings. When the seedling bed is wet, the white flocculent mold grows on the residual surface of the diseased seedling and the nearby soil surface, and finally the diseased seedling is rotten or withered.

1. Lodging reason

The pathogen overwinters in the soil and can survive for a long time. The pathogen is mainly transmitted by seedling bed irrigation, bacteria-carrying manure, agricultural machinery and tools, and it is easy to occur when the temperature is not suitable and when there is stagnant water after bed irrigation, the light is insufficient, and the seedlings are also prone to disease. Therefore, the amount of water should not be too large, the seedling will make the seedling lodge. It is also possible that the concentration of something in the irrigated water is too high, resulting in the loss of water from the roots. Light should not be too overcast, resulting in stem growth too fast, too thin, resulting in tall seedlings, thin seedlings, can not support lodging.

two。 Solution.

Seed germination and sowing density should be moderate.

Less nitrogen fertilizer and more potassium and phosphorus fertilizer, because potassium can promote the sturdiness of the stem so that lavender should not lodge.

Do not expose the sun to prevent dehydration and death, reduce the phenomenon of lodging caused by water loss after being exposed to the sun, and can be sheltered outdoors with a sunshade net, but part of the sunlight can also be penetrated, so it is not suitable for flowers and seedlings to grow excessively, and enhance photosynthesis to promote the thickening of stems.

Keeping the basin soil dry, it is not suitable for the basin soil to be wet, which is beneficial to the root growth and make the dry stems and leaves grow more evenly, and it will be better to absorb water under the basin.

The vegetable field should choose the land with higher topography, low groundwater level and good drainage as the bed, and the bed soil should be disease-free soil.

The bed soil can be disinfected and mixed with 50% carbendazim and 50% thiram at 1:1, or 10 grams of 30% carbendazim and 15-25 kg dry fine soil to make medicine soil, which is mixed in the bed soil before sowing.

Once the disease occurs in the seedbed, 25% metalaxyl 500 times solution or 40% ethyl phosphor aluminum 200 times solution can be used for chemical control.
