Entering three volts, people pay special attention to the price of chili peppers. How much is the price of chili peppers per jin? Will the price of chili pepper fall in 2017? The highest temperature in some areas such as Shaanxi, Ningxia, central and western Gansu, northern Chongqing and southern Xinjiang basin can reach 373.39 ℃. In such hot weather, vegetable prices have risen one after another, but chili peppers are not as expected.

What causes the price of chili peppers, which have been running high this year, to fall? What is the trend of chili peppers in the later stage?

On the 16th, the reporter visited a large business supermarket in Shijingshan District of Beijing and found that vegetable prices have risen sharply recently due to the continuous high temperature. On the other hand, the sales of chili peppers, which have always been bullish in the early days, are mediocre and not as prosperous as they used to be. Will the price of chili really fall in 2017?

Supermarket salesman: recently, the sales of chili peppers are not very good, the price has not dropped much, sharp pepper is 35 cents cheaper than before, and the price of vegetable pepper has not changed. Even if the goods have been walking slowly, the new goods on the morning have not sold much in the evening, and many of them have withered. It also reflects the fact that chili peppers have been sold less recently.

In addition to fresh peppers, the price of dried chili peppers has also experienced twists and turns this year. How much is the price of chili per jin? Li Tao, a market analyst at Baida Zhougudui, said:

Li Tao: at the beginning of the market, the price of dried chili peppers went up all the way. In the later period, the daily business volume in the production areas was also reduced by about half. The weakening of demand has also brought panic among depositors. Take Jinxiang in Shandong Province as an example, under the environment that Jinxiang short-term merchants sell goods actively and supply exceeds demand, the price of dried chili peppers is weak.

Analysts said that there is a certain bubble in the early dry pepper market, many people have not figured out the pepper market, and the situation of following the trend to buy is widespread. Due to the influence of the imbalance between supply and demand, coupled with the fact that the temperature has been high and reduced consumption since the beginning of summer, the price of dried pepper has fallen back to a more rational price of 5.7Mel 6.2 yuan per jin. She predicted that the future market of dried chili peppers would still be weak, and suggested that acquirers should be rational in investing in chili peppers.

Li Tao: at present, the continuous high temperature weather, on the one hand, has prevented the loss of dried chili peppers, on the other hand, the consumer demand of citizens on the other side has turned to dull, the consumption of chili peppers is low, and the dry pepper business in the producing area has entered a "dormant period". Coupled with the recent gradual increase in the dryness of chili peppers, the willingness of farmers to sell goods is also strong, in the case of oversupply, the dry pepper market is still lack of positive factors, and it is expected that the price of dried peppers is still weak in the short term.

Trading in the market is weakening, and at the other end of the market, pepper growers are starting to guarantee their income in a variety of ways. Wu Guikai, a pepper grower in Linying County, Henan Province, has been growing red pepper for seven or eight years. This year, he has planted 16 or 17 mu of red pepper, with a yield of 700 jin per mu. Wu Guikai told reporters that the price of fresh peppers dried into dry red wine peppers is higher than that of fresh peppers, and the profit is still considerable.

Wu Guikai: it was expected to be cheap. I encountered a natural disaster this year, mainly because of the rain and the bad chili peppers. The price was the highest last winter, and now the highest is 6.4 yuan per catty, which is lower than that in the previous period. Now it can be sold at this price of 6.45 yuan, because the chili is not very dry at this time, and the price is OK.

Li Tao, a market analyst at Baida Zhougudui, also gives advice on the practices of the vast number of pepper growers:

Li Tao: due to the ups and downs of dried pepper prices this year, many farmers do not understand the market rules, but considering the pepper inventory and market sales in the past six months this year, growing chili peppers is still very profitable. It is expected that the pepper planting area will expand again in the second half of this year. At that time, the contradiction between supply and demand will be highlighted, and the price of dried pepper may hit a new low. It is suggested that farmers should arrange planting plans reasonably, do not expand the planting area blindly and follow the trend.
