Green radish belongs to unicorn leaf plant, large evergreen vine, ornamental value and Jinhua air function. So how does it grow? How often do you water it? How can you grow fast and dense? According to Li Jiahui, a flower farmer, the roots of green distemper prefer a moderately humid environment. The relative humidity of leaves is required to be above 60%, so water moderately and keep the pot soil dry, and often spray water on the leaves and leaves. In summer and autumn, spray water on the leaves early, middle and late every day to increase humidity. Outdoor watering can be every day, indoor watering is generally dry see soil.

How to grow green radish?

Usually the propagation of green radish adopts cuttage method. At the end of spring and early summer, healthy green radish vines are selected, branches of 15 cm to 30 cm are cut, leaves of 1 to 2 nodes at the base are removed, attention is paid not to damage aerial roots, and then inserted into plain sand or coal slag, the depth is 1/3 of the cutting ear, enough water is placed in the shade, and the leaves are sprayed or covered with plastic film to keep moisture every day. As long as the environment is kept not lower than 20 DEG C, the survival rate is above 90%. The details are as follows:

1. Selection and treatment of cuttings

The cuttings should choose semi-lignified branches with strong growth and no diseases and insect pests, cut them into 10-13 cm long, cut the lower incision into inclined mouth, leave 2-3 leaves at the upper end, cut off half of the leaves, so as to reduce water evaporation and facilitate the survival of cuttings.

2. Cutting substrate

Cuttage substrate requirements loose breathable, good drainage, high humus loam or sandy soil, preferably vermiculite, so root fast, high survival rate. Disinfect soil with 2% formalin or 5% potassium permanganate before insertion.

3. Cutting method

The prepared cuttings are dipped in ABT rooting powder or indolebutyric acid at the lower end, inserted into the prepared substrate, buried by 1/2, watered thoroughly, so that the cuttings are in close contact with the substrate, and then covered with plastic film.

4. Post-insertion management

(1) Pay attention to keeping the soil moist and high air temperature after insertion. The soil humidity is about 50%, while the air humidity is 80%-90%.

(2) The shade degree of the early stage of cuttage should be kept at about 80%, which can not only prevent direct sunlight from strong light, but also ensure enough scattered light to facilitate photosynthesis of the leafy cuttage and rooting.

(3) Through the above treatment, the roots are basically rooted after 20 days, the film can be removed, and the light can be increased. At the same time, it is still necessary to pay attention to foliar spray and shade in sunny days in summer, and pay attention to cold protection in winter. After 10 days of rooting, it can be transferred to the pot for normal management.

Green water considerations

In summer, the temperature is higher, the green radish grows vigorously, and the water storage capacity is large. It takes about 2 days to irrigate once.

2. In autumn and winter, the amount of watering should be controlled according to the indoor temperature. When the room temperature is lower than 10 degrees, the soil evaporation of the plant is slow, so it is necessary to reduce watering, and it can be watered once every 4 to 5 days. After heating, watering should not be too frequent, 3~4 days to water once.

3, watering must be a thorough irrigation, to maintain soil moisture.

4, in the north, room temperature above 10℃, green radish can safely winter, room temperature above 20℃, green radish can grow normally.

5. When watering in winter, it is necessary to dry the water indoors for one day, and then pour it after it is basically consistent with room temperature, so as to avoid damage to the roots of green radish caused by too cold water.

Can green radish grow fast and dense?

1. Pay attention to the position placed. Green radish is a shade-loving plant, so it is best to put it in a place with less sunlight, such as indoor windowsills. However, the earth lacking light for a long time is not suitable for the growth of green radish.

2, water should be sufficient. Water the soil once a day to keep it moist.

3. Pay attention to fertilization. In addition to watering, green dill needs nutrients, so fertilize it monthly. A couple of compound fertilizers will do. If it is water, nutrient solution can be added.

4. Clean the leaves. If the leaf area is dusty, clean it. Can use shower to wash, if the effect is not obvious, then need to wash slowly by hand to clean.

5. Proper pruning. If the green radish grows crowded, then some vines need to be cut off to facilitate its growth.
