How much is a peach tree? What kind is good? What are the planting methods?
Peach trees are small deciduous trees, native to China and widely cultivated in various provinces and regions. It is planted all over the world. So how much are its saplings? What kind is good? What are the planting methods? Learned from the Taian seedling base, different specifications and varieties will have different prices, such as the most common variety is 0.8 yuan-3 yuan per tree, 4 centimeters price is 7 yuan per tree. Of course, this is only a reference price, if you need to buy in large quantities, there will be a discount.
So, what kind of peach seedlings is good?
Actually, it's hard to say. In fact, it varies from person to person, from place to place, and from climate to climate. Different regions are suitable for planting different varieties.
Peach trees are mainly divided into varieties: early-maturing varieties, medium-maturing varieties and late-maturing varieties.
1. Early maturing varieties:
Early-maturing varieties mature in early May and only in early June, including Zaomei, Chunyan, Zaoxia, Chunhua, Jingchun, Chunxue and so on. Peaches are usually less than 150 grams.
2. Medium-ripe varieties:
The mature period of mid-mature varieties is from late June to mid-August, with Hujing Mailu, Guonong No. 10 and so on. Peaches are at 5: 8 taels, and the largest one can exceed one jin. When ripe, the juice is sweet and thick, the taste is strong and fragrant, and the minced meat melts at the entrance and can be sucked with a straw. During this period, the sun is sufficient to ensure the growth of high-quality varieties of peaches.
3. Late maturing varieties:
The mature period of late-maturing varieties is from early 10 to late 10, there are sunny, Zhongdu peach and so on. During this period, the pulp of peach is sweet and delicious and the storage is good. It is especially suitable for National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts.
What are the planting methods of peach seedlings?
1. Peach trees are mainly grafted, and they can also be propagated by sowing, cutting and striping. The seedlings used as rootstocks are coring when the seedling height is 25-30 cm, which thickens the seedlings. By the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, they can reach the roughness needed for rootstock grafting.
2. Transplantation should be carried out after defoliation in early spring or autumn. Young seedlings can be transplanted with bare roots or stained with mud, while large seedlings need to be transplanted with soil balls. The cultivation of large seedlings needs shaping and pruning to form a skeleton. Many peach trees are shaped into natural cup-shaped crowns and natural happy crowns.
3. The method of planting peach trees is not difficult. Generally, 500-840 peach trees are planted per hectare. The planting period can be from after falling leaves to before sprouting. Peach orchards can not be continuous cropping, otherwise the growth of young trees is obviously weak, the leaves lose green, the new roots turn brown and bifurcate, and the branches flow gum. This taboo continuous cropping phenomenon is serious in sandy soil or upper soil with low fertility. The main reason is that the residual roots of previous cropping decompose in the soil to produce toxic substances such as benzaldehyde and cyanic acid, which inhibit and poison the roots, and are also related to the proliferation and accumulation of nematodes in the soil during continuous cropping.
4. The requirement ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in peach is about 1 ∶ 0.5 ∶ 1. Young trees should pay attention to control the application of nitrogen fertilizer, otherwise it is easy to cause overgrowth. Increase the application of nitrogen fertilizer after the full fruit period to strengthen the tree potential. The content of potassium in peach fruit is 3.2 times that of nitrogen. With the application of potassium fertilizer, the yield of peach fruit is high.
5. When combined with soil deep ploughing, organic fertilizer is mainly applied, accounting for 50% of the annual fertilizer application, strong fruit fertilizer is applied during the hard core period from late April to May, early-maturing species are mainly potassium fertilizer, and fruit-picking fertilizer is applied before and after fruit harvesting, accounting for 15% and 20% of the whole year. In addition, peach orchards need regular ploughing and weeding to keep the soil loose and drain water in time to prevent stagnant water from rotting roots.
6. After the peach trees are planted, proper pruning is also good. The height of the fixed stem is about 60 cm, leaving 3-4 main cinnamon, 1-2 secondary main branches per main branch, and fewer branchlets on the main and secondary main branches as far as possible. The pruning period is divided into winter pruning and summer pruning.
7. Although the first fruit tree has borne fruit, it grows vigorously, has many overgrown branches and dense branches, so it is necessary to adopt summer pruning measures such as wiping buds, coring and twisting, in order to suppress the strong and help the weak, maintain tree balance, and peach trees in full fruiting period. due to years of fruit, the tree potential has eased, the proportion of long branches and secondary branches decreased significantly, the proportion of medium and short fruit branches increased, and the over-dense branches and top strong branches should be deleted to improve the light conditions between the shoots. Weak branches should be renewed in a timely manner.
