Growing to a certain period of time, wheat will grow a lot of weeds, and these weeds will not only absorb nutrients from the land, but also make wheat grow poorly, so wheat should be weeded regularly, while wheat weeding has a lot of attention, and many farmers are usually not sure. It is easy to cause poor weeding effect or form drug damage, affecting the normal growth of wheat. When is the good time to weed the wheat in spring? What kind of herbicide do you choose? How can I play well?

In fact, wheat weeding is roughly divided into two stages before and after the Spring Festival, that is, the seedling stage and the green stage of wheat. during this period, the weeding effect is better, but how not to produce drug damage? This is related to the composition of many herbicides, but also related to winter temperature, there are some other factors, we should pay attention to master.

For example, in the wheat seedling stage, when the daytime temperature is lower than 6 degrees in winter, do not use herbicides such as methyl disulfuron, oxazolyl, alkynyl ester, bensulfuron and so on. After the strong cooling, the weather will stabilize, and medicine can be used to control weeds according to local conditions.

In addition, the effect of weeding is also affected by soil moisture. When the weather is particularly dry, that is, when the soil moisture is bad, the effect of herbicides will be greatly reduced. When the soil moisture is 40%-60%, the effect of herbicides is easy to play, and the effect will be better. At the same time, we should also grasp the spraying time, generally choose to spray herbicides after 10:00 in the morning and before 16:00 in the afternoon. In the dosage must be prepared in accordance with the requirements of the instructions, excessive or insufficient dosage is not advisable.

If there is no time to weed before the Spring Festival or weeding is not ideal, then weeding should be done in time after the Spring Festival, when the wheat enters the green period, the weed growth also enters the flourishing period, and the weeding effect is good.

However, herbicides should not be used after wheat jointing, otherwise it is easy to cause different degrees of drug damage.

For example, toluene mixture can control a variety of broad-leaved weeds, using 20% dimethyltetrachlorochloride 125 ml plus 40% bentazone 100 ml per mu, spraying 30 kg of water, the spraying time is suitable for wheat after tillering and before jointing, and the mixture is only suitable for rice crops after tillering.

Wheat, rice and other gramineous crops are very sensitive to dimethyltetrachloride at seedling stage, and the resistance increases gradually after 3-4 leaf stage, the strongest at the end of tillering stage, and the sensitivity increases again at young panicle differentiation stage. Therefore, it is generally required to apply pesticide from 4 leaf stage to pre-jointing stage.

40% Baicaodi and 2mem4murD butyl ester can not be used after wheat jointing, otherwise it is very easy to cause drug damage to wheat, if used too late, it will cause wheat not to grain. Wheat is applied from jointing to booting stage, when the vegetative growth and reproductive growth of wheat go hand in hand, the resistance is poor and sensitive, it is easy to produce drug damage, inhibit wheat growth, cause tiller death, wheat ear deformity, slow growth, so it should be applied before jointing, such as wheat jointing and booting stage, it is more sensitive to many kinds of herbicides, such as Poma, dimethyltetrachloride, trimethoprim and so on. After treatment, it is very easy to cause curling of wheat leaves, yellowing of wheat seedlings, growth inhibition, destruction of spike differentiation, abnormal heading or deformity of wheat ears.

The application of herbicides containing benzenesulfuron in spring wheat fields can easily lead to the damage of cotton seedlings, soybeans and other crops, which should be applied before winter and should not be less than 60 days apart from the sowing period of the next crops, so as to ensure the safety of the next crops.

In spring, herbicides such as Parma should be used to control weeds such as Niangmai in spring. Isoproturon has good control effect on weeds with small leaf age, older weeds at jointing stage of wheat, and poor weed control effect with isoproturon application.

Relatively speaking, herbicides such as Kuaimei and Thalon, which are suitable for controlling broadleaf weeds in wheat fields, are safe to wheat seedlings, and their application after jointing generally does not have much effect on the growth and development of wheat. moreover, the residual period of these herbicides in the field is short, and the application of these herbicides in spring will not have a bad effect on the following stubble. The residual period of herbicides such as benzenesulfuron is longer, and it is generally not suitable to apply after jointing wheat in spring, so as to avoid drug damage to the following crops.

Considering that the application of herbicides may have adverse effects on jointed wheat, the method of picking treatment can be used when applying herbicides in the field, mainly spraying in places where there are many weeds, and at the same time, it should be noted that even in places with many weeds, do not spray repeatedly blindly to prevent excessive local dosage from having adverse effects on wheat.
