Fruit mulberry is the fruit of mulberry, and the fruit rate is generally low, and the picking time is short, so it is not easy to transport, so the price is small and expensive, but in order to create benefits, many people take the method of prolonging the picking period to increase yield. When will mulberry be picked? How to prolong the picking period?

The picking period of fruit mulberry is short, generally from late April to early May, and mulberry is not easy to be preserved and transported after picking.

The method of prolonging the picking period of fruit mulberry:

1. Planting: select sturdy, uniform, disease-free mulberry seedlings, planted in the planting hole, planted well, and watered the root water.

2. Shaping and pruning

The main results were as follows: (1) after planting, when the new shoot reached 5cm, the core was removed to promote the axillary bud germination, and three robust axillary buds in the direction of 120 °were retained to form branches. After core extraction, when the new shoot reached 20cm, the tip of the new shoot was pinched and cut off to promote axillary bud germination, and three robust axillary buds in 120 °direction were retained to grow and form branches.

(2) from the second year after planting, in late June every year, the branches were cut off from the base to regenerate new buds. When the new buds grow 6 leaves, each branch retains 4 strong and well-placed new buds to form fruiting mother shoots. And the excess new buds were sprouted.

(3) from the second year after planting, the weak branches, disease and insect branches, over-dense branches and lateral recumbent branches should be cut off in late December every year.

3. Fruit period management

The main results are as follows: (1) in the very young fruit stage of mulberry, the base of the fruiting mother branch, which accounts for 1 / 3 of each fruit mulberry, is ring-cut, and the first growth regulator is coated and wrapped on the ring-cutting wound.

(2) in the mature stage of mulberry, the base of the fruiting mother branch, which accounts for the unringed mother branch of each fruit mulberry, was ring-cut, and the second growth regulator was sprayed on the whole plant once after ring-cutting.
