Kiwifruit, also known as kiwifruit, is a common fruit in our country, which is very popular because it is rich in vitamin c, but if you want kiwifruit to produce high yield, besides basic management skills, you should also do a good job of cutting. when will kiwifruit trees be cut? How can cutting be high-yielding?

It is appropriate to carry out from early July to late September. Therefore, the branches of the mother tree have stopped growing, but they are not yet lignified, and the survival rate after cutting is more than 95%.

Cutting skills:

1. Prepare to insert soil

The edge of the bed is built with bricks or stones. The bed is 1.2m wide and 0.3m high. The bottom is covered with gravel sand 0.1m thick and the upper soil is 0.2m thick. The intercalated soil is made of forest humus soil, sifted burning soil and fine sand, with a ratio of 3 ∶ 3 ∶ 4. When mixing and inserting soil, spray 1% potassium permanganate solution or disinfect it with pentachloronitrobenzene, then seal it with film for 3 to 4 days, open and dry for 1 to 2 days, then make the bed and flatten it.

2. Cut the cuttings

The strong, pest-free and semi-lignified twigs should be selected from the excellent middle-aged plants, and the cuttings should be cut from the bottom to the top. Each cuttage is about 0.6 cm in diameter and 4 to 6 cm in length, with 3 nodes and 1 to 2 axillary buds, leaving a leaf at the upper end to facilitate photosynthesis. When cutting ears, the cut should be smooth, and the upper cut should be close to the base of the axillary bud. Bundle 20 to 30 cuttings into a bundle. When binding, the lower end of the cuttings should be neatly arranged to facilitate dipping in the liquid medicine.

3. Cutter treatment

Use ABT rooting powder No. 1 with 100mg / kg liquid, insert 3 cm at the base of cuttings into the solution and soak for 0.5 to 1 hour. Or soak in 50 mg / kg naphthalene acetic acid solution for 12 hours, take it out and place it for a while, and then implant, the rooting rate can reach more than 95%.

4. Cutting method

The distance between cuttings is 8 cm to 10 cm and the row spacing is 15 to 20 cm. First, make an oblique Jack with a proper depth with a wooden stick, and then insert the lower end of the cuttings into the soil obliquely, in order to expose the upper axillary buds and leaves, then slightly compact the surrounding soil, and finally pour it through with a concentration of 500 mg / kg carbendazim solution. it plays the role of root setting and soil disinfection.

5. Plug-in management

First, shading and spraying water. At the height of 0.3m and 1.7m from the bed, there is a shade shed, each covered with a bamboo curtain or sunshade net with a transmittance of 30%. The temperature in the shed is controlled from 24 ℃ to 28 ℃, and the relative humidity is more than 85%. Spray water 2 to 3 times a day on sunny days, requiring soil moisture content of 90% in the early stage and 70% to 80% in the middle and later stages. The high shade shed is covered in the morning and unveiled at night. Generally, callus can be formed in 10 days after cutting, and it can take root and survive in about 20 days.

Second, fertilization and spraying. After the cuttings grow 2 to 3 leaves, 10% water dung can be applied 2 to 3 times a month. At the seedling stage, it is best to spray 1000 times of carbendazim wettable powder or 0.5% Bordeaux solution once or twice a month to prevent red leaf spot and blight. The main pests at the seedling stage are aphids, leaf rollers and leaf-eating insects, and pyrethroids and organophosphorus pesticides can be used for control. If the plant height is more than 30 cm, it can be transplanted with soil and planted out of the nursery.
